Right now only the overlays appear and not actual radar products. But before this bug it is a great app and I frequently used it during severe weather. ### 2/5 — Such a bummer. *2024-09-26, version 6.9.0* I have used this app since it came out i think. Oklahoma native and my mother made me get it for safety and it has helped save my life many of times. But randomly it quit working. Always crashes on the radar. I still have it for the alerts (which i still get that goodness) but i would love the radar to come back. I have talked with Aaron and he has tried to help which was sooo kind. But nothing has worked. So it’s a bummer to leave this review. Just hoping it would update sometime and maybe kick start it working again. However, long video ads that come at times when I really need to check the radar immediately are extremely frustrating. I’m going to have to switch apps unless this one ditches the videos and goes to static ads. I’m in an iPhoneSE with the most current operation system. Download went fine. But now that I need the app for storm watch? It won’t stay open past the tornado watch it notified me of. I can’t even get to the app forecast. Love the warnings especially during the overnight. His app literally saved our lives during the overnight Dale tornado. AT is a great meteorologist and guy! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Used to be Great — Now Ridden with Ads *2025-05-26, version 6.9.1* I used to love this app. Up until I randomly started getting crazy amounts of ads. Ads that won’t just let you click through immediately. Most recently was an ad that I couldn’t figure out how to skip through because the skip button was in some different language and was in the location other ads usually have their download button. I don’t want to download something sketchy from a weather app. Nor do I want to sit through an ad next time I hear crazy thunder or the sirens going off. There’s also the notifications I get for streams or information or something I don’t know, on account of it being “for subscribers”. Looking at the aarontuttleweather webpage, live tornado coverage (arguably the most important) is paywalled content. If you want all the information in one place, this is not it. ### 1/5 — App is TRASH *2025-05-18, version 6.9.1* Daily forecast will show 0% of rain while the hourly will show 20% on that same day. You bring it up on Facebook and he turns it into some drama whine fest. There’s a reason he is the joke of Oklahoma weather people. ### 1/5 — Aaron Tittie Baby *2025-03-24, version 6.9.1* Follower of Aaron Tuttle for years on FB. Honestly he’s just a drama queen. That being said, liked his forecasting and storm coverage and used his app. He recently blocked me for liking a constructive comment one of his followers had made. The comment was critical of Mr Tuttle for telling another follower on FB with problems with his paid service “if you can read and follow instructions you’d have no problem.” Was such a childish response to a wanna be paid subscriber to his new required paid service. Starting a new paid service and treating new subscribers like that is certainly NOT a smooth business move. Done w/his childish antics and now deleting his app. BYE BYE AT ### 1/5 — Blocking anyone struggling *2025-02-24, version 6.9.1* He blocks anyone questioning his current harshness when they struggle to figure out new paid set up.. ### 1/5 — Live tornado coverage is now subscription based *2025-02-14, version 6.9.1* They just made live tornado coverage subscription based. The good ole' pay to survive. Uninstalling. ### 1/5 — Egotistical jerk that can’t get over himself. And the app is 90% wrong all the time. *2024-01-21, version 6.9.0* The “weather” app isn’t even accurate 90% of the time and it’s a waste of time especially since the ads are ridiculous and frustrating. ### 1/5 — Deleted *2023-07-31, version 6.8.1* 3am heat advisory alerts continue to wake me. Don’t like the app anyway with the immediate ads as soon as you open. I have other weather apps was keeping this one for the local tornado info but not worth it. Safety net Alerts are helpful but using the app as a quick severe weather resource is hampered with need to spam a buck. ### 1/5 — Clunky and not user friendly *2023-01-29, version 6.8.1* The app is clunky, hardly worth the time it takes to look at the weather for the week. All of those testimonies are true. AT is the hardest working person I have seen in the weather world. He works a full time job and then works some more on his off time to do forecasts, developing his app, developing his own weather studio, doing lives during his lunch break and doing lives that last hours during outbreaks….all this and much more. People that sacrifice so much of their personal time to do something they truly believe in are good people in my book. Today, I was worried about my Dad traveling from Texas back to Moore because of inclement weather coming through so I messaged AT for advice….I didn’t think he would answer because he is really busy and probably gets hundreds of messages but he took time out to answer me personally. He just gained a life long supporter. Thank you for all of your hard work AT. Get the app. You can use it no matter where you travel. Always gives me a generous heads up when stuff is headed my way and I’m not sure I could ask for more. Twice over the last decade I had a weird error and submitted a comment about it. Aaron himself messaged me and fixed the problem in hours each time. And tonight as I sit in the basement with sirens going off, I realized that even with the free version the ads are turned down when the weather is dangerous. This is by far the best app for Midwestern storms and tornadoes. ### 5/5 — Trust *2024-02-12, version 6.9.0* I have a wife, 4 kids, & 5 dogs to love & protect. The choices I make to protect them are the most important choices I make. I have absolute trust in the forecasts & current weather information that I get from this app! I love that I can add multiple locations such as home, school, work, & my families locations in Oklahoma & out of state. The twisting storm feature on this app has literally contributed to saving my best friend & his family alerting them to an approaching twisting storm for a tornado that hit the west side of Mangum,Ok. Aaron will keep you informed with up to the second reports giving one time to prepare for any imminent dangers!
