I've never bothered to play the hard level, because medium is SO much harder. In older versions, there was another level between these two, and it made more sense. If they went back to that, I'd play it more often. But there is one major problem...when you want to do another activity on the iPhone, you cannot save the game. You lose your points and have to start over every time you exit the game for anything. I mean, the shooter goes where I think it will go but how it gets there it doesn't really translate well. Feels rigid and fake, I can't get into it. I just deleted it because it was so frustrating to me. Balls never went where I shot them, and it takes forever to finish a level, and there is no pause. Maybe it was just me. Just an amateur gamer in her fifty's who has some arthritis in her hands. The fast pace, non-stop hurts my eyes too and ends up being more stressful than fun. If it's still free give it a try and see if you don't agree, but please do not give these crooked designers your money! ### 1/5 — Abysmal *2010-10-01, version 0* Easily the worst game I've played in quite a while. Where's the element of fun? Step 1: Wait for animation of ball appearing. Step 2: The ball is always a reachable color. Just slide it at a ball of its color. Step 3: Wait for destruction animation. Step 4: Repeat. To add suspense, while you wait for the animations to end, a new row of balls will be added, prolonging your misery. To the creators: Study up on your game theory. I'm getting this mindless excuse for a puzzle game out of my sight. *Rant* Oh, and revolutionary gameplay? Pfft, right. If you want to copy Bust-A-Move, IMPROVE on the formula. Not make it worse. ### 2/5 — Needs high scores, balls speeds, purpose *2010-10-14* Easy and medium levels do-able, but somewhat pointless without high score tracking for when you complete the game fairly quickly. Seems like goal there might be quickest completion so a lower score might be better. For the hard level, the rows appear at a faster pace, but the speed of the ball is not fast enough, no faster than on other levels. Buggy - frustrating inconsistent collision detection. Needs game center integration, achievements, faster balls. Not a good value on this app compared with others, maybe okay as a throwaway freebie. ### 2/5 — There are better games. *2010-10-04, version 0* While the point of the game is easy to understand, there isn't much of a challenge provided with this game. The lack of at least good graphics makes this game a one-and-done app. Even after playing through all of the (easy) levels, the difficulty levels provided still make this game quite pointless. ### 2/5 — Good concept, Awful execution *2010-10-03* The idea should be fun, but is actually very boring. Here are three things that would bring this up to 5 stars: 1. Make the balls respawn faster. It takes far too long to wait for the next ball to be ready to use. 2. Have more levels than easy, medium, and hard. Have players progress through levels like a journey. 3. Add power-ups like bombs to get rid of a large section, wild balls, balls that pause or slow the descent of the next row, and balls with more accurate targeting. ### 2/5 — Not that good *2010-10-02, version 0* Wish I could get my money back. Nothing like the bubble shooter game you find on the internet. The ball (from the bottom of the screen) moves too slow (when you try to hit the other balls) compared the ones at the top coming down. It makes the game end a lot quicker.
