It was until further looking that I discovered it’s a free trial with 13 days remaining. I went to my subscriptions to check that it wasn’t listed and it’s not. After coming back to look at other reviews with similar issues I’ve decided to delete the app. It would be better if this company disclosed the free trial period and didn’t make this app seem like it’s free. As a business owner I pay so much for subscriptions I was excited to get a start tracking app for free. No such luck! ### 2/5 — Help with pay rate *2025-11-24, version 4.4.2* Is there any way to change the pay rate to from hourly to day, I would like to set to 200 per day ### 2/5 — In app purchases *2025-11-22, version 4.4.2* I find the app a tad on the expensive side. Especially compared to the local product that is now no longer available. ### 3/5 — Too complicated *2025-10-18, version 4.4.1* A bit too complicated for what I need, this app is definitely better used by employers who have set up their employees with clocking in and out through here. Personally, I wanted to use it alongside the clock my employer uses to keep track of how many hours I’ve worked in a pay period, since I can’t see the employers records of it. This app has too much going on for the simple feature I need, and it requires location to be on at all times which I’m not a fan of at all and is not necessary to click a clock in and out button. Uninstalled because it wasn’t what I needed ### 3/5 — Couldn’t get it to work *2025-10-12, version 4.4.0* I downloaded the app. I created an account and let Apple automatically create a strong password for me. I went to log in and had to enter my user ID (email address). The password field was not being associated with my new strong password. I requested to reset my password. I did not get an email with a new temporary password. I deleted the app. ### 3/5 — No free membership available *2025-09-29* I am a small business and decided to get some help with scheduling, so I downloaded the app. Typically for trials they will get you to put in your billing info so after the trial period you are set. They do not do this. Once you are settled in the app they will email you stating your trial is ending and you need to sign up for the program or you lose progress. It’s over $5 a month PER employee. I gave 3 stars because the program isn’t bad, however the way they operate is not up-front, and feels shady **Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Over 8 months they managed to rip me with over $1,600 in monthly payments. I don’t suggest this it’s an absolute waste of money!! ### 1/5 — Great app however don’t get stung *2025-04-28, version 4.2.1* We initially liked Atto, but our recent experience was very disappointing. Despite no longer using the service, Atto refused to offer any flexibility after an auto-renewal, charging us nearly $2,000 for seats we aren't using. While they pointed to their terms and conditions, good businesses today prioritize customer goodwill over rigid policies. Sadly, Atto’s inflexibility has left a very sour taste. We won't be using or recommending Atto in the future — proceed with caution. ### 1/5 — Mileage *2025-04-01, version 4.2.1* I’ve been using this app for 3 months ‘paid’ it had everything I needed. To track my location, log in and out and track my mileage. There was a glitch with the app where mileage wasn’t working so I turned the toggle off and when I went to turn it on, surprise I needed to upgrade the service to use that feature. I emailed Atto and they were saying it was apart of the 14 day free trial and I need to switch over to them directly, not through Apple ID and pay another subscription. Umm but never used the 14 day free trial, I was using a paid service and lost mileage tracking after which I had for the 3 months I paid for.. It’s also on the app store mileage is included. But now it’s not and there’s no terms and conditions or mentions what they are saying is on offer, isn’t actually available unless you go through the company directly. But Hey the company stand by mileage is only on the 14 day trial. They understand it’s confusing… but sign up to them directly and pay the currency exchange on top and they will give you what you were under the impression you were paying for. Mind you, I’m still paying, for a service that is advertising they include mileage but all of a sudden don’t. And just to top it off friends and family still have an account on apple if and they have mileage. I just wish I didn’t turn the toggle off. One time credit card payment failed and they said they will close account! We are customer since 2024. I was charged for the annual plan and asked for a refund right away on day one. They refused instantly. Very disappointing and unfair. I’ve used many paid apps, but this kind of no-refund attitude is rare and frustrating. ### 1/5 — Privacy Issues *2025-09-17, version 4.4.0* This app will track you, even if you're off the clock. I was in Eastern Europe on vacation and this app was still tracking me. It gives you no way to secure your privacy and have the app still function. Edit: I have been forced to use this app for a few years now, and I can't even begin to tell you how many hours of work I have not been paid for. It will reflect being logged in (or out) when it's not. It's horrible. It's invasive. And you will lose money. ### 1/5 — Very expensive per user/employee *2025-09-09, version 4.4.0* They don’t let you know prior to signing up via the app that it cost an additional $80 per year per employee or manager or just user in general. I signed up thinking it was $100 for the whole year for every feature. It was not that after paying My $100 and inviting my manager to make her account I was told that I have to pay in an additional $80. That’s insane nothing in their app tells you that you have to pay per user. I have five employees just looking for something simple and easy to use which this app is, but the price is crazy. ### 1/5 — Hidden Charges. After doing some market research, I realised there are many apps like Atto. And they are much cheaper and have transparent pricing. I wouldn’t use this app again. ### 1/5 — Need fixing *2025-06-16, version 4.3.1* So I try to use this app. I started a company and was going to start using this app for my employees to clock in and out. Here is the issue that I have. For example: I hired 2 employees so they are the only 2 that are clocking in and out but I have to pay for 3 users even though I don’t clock in.
