This app swindled me and I am going to trading standards over this.

You bid, you win. You get a 20 closing fee, it includes closing fees and taxes. You pay for shipment, and a handling fee. 

Auctionet KNEW there would be other fees but do not disclose it. So suddenly you have to pay import and duty fees which are another 20%.

If you buy direct from the auctionhause you will often find cheaper closing fees and have a much clearer idea of import fees. 

Auctionet support suggested I fly and pick up the item to avoid paying the taxes.

You will essentially have to pay taxes twice and pay Auctionet a hefty handling fee and margin uplift for the privilege. 

Is any of this on the invoice they generate? Nope. Did they know, yes. Is it willfully misleading. Yes. Buy on eBay or Etsy and you get clear import fees. This company wilfully misleading.

The worst auction house. Customer service never responds. Stay away.

I’ve never written a negative review online before ! 
I bought two vintage watches totalling just under £1000. 
No items arrived - and extremely unhelpful customer services. 
Do not use and also check out their terrible trust pilot reviews - I wish I had. 
Trying to get my money back using my bank but could take months.

The app was ok-ish until last week when the company decided to sell personal details to Facebook and other third parties and put up a banner that would only go away if accepted this!!!! If you rejected the banner would stay up. So I uninstalled.
If you ever win an auction, you have to pay about additional 10% for made up fees, such as buyers premium, hammer fee etc.
Then there is a shipping cost!!
If things go smoothly you’ll get a tracking number about 10 working days later!!! And if things don’t go smoothly then good luck to you cause the replies you get from here customer service are absolutely useless.

Errors popping up when trying to add a card. Then the app freezes on the card details screen and it’s impossible to see other info from the profile. No notifications about winning a bid or a payment due either.
