## What is AuctionMate Go?

AuctionMate Go tells you what a salvage or used auction car is worth, and the most to bid, before you bid.

Paste a Copart or IAAI link, type a VIN, or scan the VIN barcode:

  • A plain verdict on every car: Strong margin, Thin margin or Below cost
  • Your maximum bid, and your profit at that price
  • Market values: wholesale, private sale and retail
  • What similar cars actually sold for at auction, matched on mileage
  • Sold price history for any car: the typical price, prices by mileage and damage, and the latest sales
  • Replay any sold car at the price it went for, with your own repairs, fees and margin
  • Open safety recalls, the decoded VIN, title and reported damage
  • Buy Now cars show your profit at the Buy Now price
  • A Dashboard with your upcoming sales and your Watchlist, and a reminder before a saved car's sale
  • Browse upcoming and sold cars with filters, and share any car

Whether you flip cars, run a small lot or buy your next car at auction, AuctionMate turns a messy listing into one clear decision.

Your lists, notes and repair figures are shared with the AuctionMate website and Chrome extension, so a car you save at the yard is on your desktop when you get back.

  Free to use.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.7 — 2026-10-23

• Sold cars show what they sold for. A car sold in the last 45 days keeps its auction page, with "Sold for $14,200 on Sep 22" at the top, so you can compare your numbers with the real price. Listed titles can be wrong: tap "Check the title" to review it.
 • Past auctions open their details: the result, where it ran, and the car's condition then.
 • Shipping for each car: none, to you, or international, with the route, time at sea and cost. The deal sheet shows your profit both ways.
 • A bid you type stays put when you change shipping, margin or repairs.
 • International shipping never lowers your max bid.
 • Bolder section headers, and Safety recalls found for more cars.
 • Reliability and security improvements.

### 1.1.6 — 2026-10-19

• Prices tab: see what any car has sold for at Copart and IAAI. You get the typical price, prices by mileage and by damage, a chart you can tap for any sale, and the latest sales.
  • Your Watchlist now lives in the Dashboard, with a search over your saved cars and lists.
  • Buy Now cars show what you'd make buying at the Buy Now price.
  • A note under Add to list tells you when saving a car gets you a reminder before its sale.
  • "Similar cars sold" now compares cars with similar mileage.
  • Better trim matching, so values fit the exact car you're looking at.
  • Fixes and reliability improvements.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-10-10

- Sold prices: Browse now has an Upcoming | Sold switch. See what cars actually sold for at Copart and IAAI, with photos, the sale date and the typical price for similar cars. Filter by price, make, model, year, damage, title and auction, and share any sale.
- Replay this sale: open a sold car and run your own numbers at the price it sold for. Change the resale, repairs, damage level, title, mileage, fees and margin, or pick wholesale, private or retail as the resale, and see whether that price would have made sense. Nothing is saved.
- Share a car: a Share button on every car page sends its name, condition and sale day - never your max bid, notes or settings. Shared links open straight in the app, and Back always takes you somewhere useful.
- Browse is easier to search: type a lot number or a VIN to jump to that car, save your searches and see what is new in them, and filter by when it sells, run condition and seller type. Filters now sit beside the search box.
- Browse remembers whether you were on Upcoming or Sold, and opens there.
- Faster car pages: opening a car no longer waits on the photo check. A single photo-read button reads the photos when you want it, and an unchecked damage level is marked as an estimate.
- The Dashboard lists only cars selling today or later.
- A market value that needs a second try now appears without reopening the car.
- Canadian sales show prices in CA$ and mileage in km, as the yard lists them.
- Sold cars read clearly: model names keep their capitals (ES 350, RAV4, CX-50 2.5) and a clean title says so.
- Dark maker logos stay visible on the dark themes.
- Notification settings show only the alerts the app actually sends.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-10-05

Share a car, save your searches, and check the photos when you choose.

  - Share: send any car as a link with its name, condition and sale day. Tapping the link opens the car right in the app. Your max bid, profit and notes are never included.
  - Browse: new filters for sale date, run condition and seller type, plus quick chips like Runs and drives and Clean title. Save a search and see how many new lots have
  appeared since you last looked.
  - Find a car by typing its lot number or VIN into Browse search.
  - Tap "AI photo read" to grade the damage from the lot photos; repair, value and max bid update. Until then the damage level is marked as an estimate.
  - Sold prices match your car's damage, and show a range when there is not enough for one figure. Max bid now subtracts your own repair estimate.
  - Dashboard shows each car's next step and holds only cars still to sell. A passed sale reads "Result pending" with the last bid.
  - Fixes: clearer mileage and Parts only labels, more reliable VIN photos, and settings changed on the web now appear in the app.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-09-25

NUMBERS THAT SAY WHAT THEY ARE

The "as-is" figure now tells you where it came from - a median of real completed sales, our own estimate, or a market average. They used to look
identical, and a measured figure and an estimate are not the same thing.

The similar-cars chart no longer plots your car's resale price alongside cars that actually sold. Those were two different kinds of number on one
axis, and it made your car look worth several times what comparable cars were clearing.

That chart also appears on far more cars than before. When the auction feed had nothing, the list of comparable cars showed but the chart above
it did not - even where we had sales to draw.

FIXES

- Signing out no longer leaves the previous account's settings in place.
- The title-discount line now names the title the discount came from, instead of crediting a warning that moves no money.
- Turning damage pricing off now works here the same way it does everywhere else.
