One day it just stopped loading the pictures of items. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still shows limited to no photos. What good is this app without being able to view the items up for sale. Disappointing. ### 2/5 — Missing favorites *2024-10-24* App should since with website marked favorites. It’s a real pain to have to scroll all the way through an auction to find what you’ve already marked. ### 2/5 — Useful but Misleading *2023-01-12, version 1.2.9* I use the site regularly but as time goes on I am growing irritated with it. I do not like online auctions and will not participate in them. I also will no longer go to a live auction that accepts online bidding. That being said, AuctionZip lets us choose between in person and online auctions. Auctioneers are listing online auctions as in person auctions. It wastes time to review and discard those options. It also makes me question their honesty. If they will mislead about that what else will they do to profit themselves? Date range for search cannot be changed, pictures from auctions are stuck on one picture as you see the picture numbers change. Unfix your fix. ### 1/5 — Useless *2021-03-25* This app was once a useful resource for finding auctions. I don’t know what the developers have done, but it has now been rendered useless. It won’t allow the dates to search to be changed; you search for one week from the current date whether you want to or not. As far as photos, all that can be viewed are the thumbnails. If you select the first photo to see a larger view, every subsequent photo you try to look at just shows that first photo. I tried deleting the app and then reinstalling, but the problems remain. Yes, it’s a free app...but it’s still overpriced. ### 1/5 — What are you guys doing? *2020-11-11* The new web design is all sorts of messed up, and the calendar is basically broken. I download the app hoping to find something more accessible the website currently is, (find my calendar with upcoming auctions) and the app doesn’t even have a calendar! I thought with all the reviews left, it would be back on the app by now, but it’s not. I guess the upside is, I’m about save a lot of money. ### 1/5 — No Favorites? *2020-10-11, version 1.1.5* I use the online version to find auctions and bookmark (favorite) the items I am interested in. Very disappointed to load this app only to find that there is no way to mark favorites items or auctions. Also no filter for auction types? Now anytime I try viewing photos in the gallery nothing is there. It doesn’t matter what auction I’m viewing there are no photos showing up in the gallery. The app was great before this started happening. I’ve updated my phone and deleted and redownloaded the app. Nothing has corrected the issue. Without photos the app is kind of worthless. ### 1/5 — ZIP is wrong *2025-12-04, version 1.3.3* Why bots? I don’t want to opt into your bots but cannot use your app. Why? ### 1/5 — Not useful unless you are just bidding *2024-11-19* I was very excited to get this. One of my favorite things on the website is choosing my items with the little heart that I am going to look for when I go to the auction. I wanted to use this as a way to pull those items up and it doesn’t do anything like that at all. Very disappointed. It’s only good if you’re using it just to buy stuff. ### 1/5 — Dishonest and Misleading *2023-08-20* AuctionZip knowingly allows and encourages auctioneers to be deceptive. Auctioneers list auctions as “In Person” when they are only online. If an auctioneer can’t be honest in how they list their auctions can you really expect them to be honest or have good intentions with your bids(your funds). This has been pointed out to AuctionZip for years, so they must condone the deception. It also makes you wonder why they even give the option to search online vs in person. I’m unable to search by auction house unless I also enter a keyword. To get around this, I open the desktop version of auctionzip on my phone’s browser. ### 1/5 — Updated app now useless! *2021-08-27* While surfing on my iPhone, app asks you to verify you are a person but there is no way to do so or delete the page! Calendar is missing. Search gives you everything instead of filtering searches. This app is terrible and does not deserve a rating. I even gave them the idea of making an app when their website was sucking horribly. They joined the 21st century, but their app works 50%. Searching for an item at any auction is virtually impossible. It is a very user unfriendly app and I deleted it. ### 1/5 — Embarrassing App *2021-04-23, version 1.1.8* The search function, (which is probably the number one reason you downloaded the app), doesn’t work, plain and simple. After you enter your zip code and have it set to display auctions within a 50 mile radius, it shows auctions in 3 states over at the top. Roughly displaying 2,775 listings. Really? Also, if you want to search online auctions within a radius, forget it. It’s not an option. Whoever is writing code obviously doesn’t care. Just discovered Invaluable owns AuctionZip so I expected more. There needs to be some Dev fixes to images not loading though. Currently, I click into an auction and only 4 or 5 auction images load. The rest are just white blocks.
