He loves using it and is super simple. Reccomend ### 1/5 — They have issues *2026-08-04* The connection somehow drops from the hearing aids to my phone app. Phone and aids are within a foot of each other. I try and reconnect the aids to the phone, the app shows success they are connected, but in reality they are not. The phone app is blank and pulsates up and down. If it does connect the left ear is on and the right ear is off. I can’t get it to connect……have turned the phone off and back on, have removed the app and reinstalled it and putting them in the case and then putting them back on is also a lost cause. Now the case…..I have put my aids in the case, get up the next morning and they are dead……have not charged. I play a game now to move the aid around until the white charging lights come on. Then I carefully close the lid making sure both lights stay on. Sometimes when the lid touches the aid cord the light(s) go off. Very time consuming and super frustrating. ### 1/5 — Will not stay connected *2026-07-05, version 2.1.2* Even when the aids are 1 foot from me they won’t stay connected. Works great if they would stay connected. Batteries go down very fast! ### 1/5 — App needs to be redesigned *2026-05-24, version 2.1.2* The heating aids (Ion Pro 2) work well, but the app is useless. It will constantly (every 15 minutes or so), drop the connection to the hearing aids and will not reconnect unless you put the aids in the charger for “2 seconds” and then reconnect. That means that you must carry the charger with you if you want to adjust the aids. This makes the app less than useless. I have another pair of TruHearing aids and the controlling app never disconnects the aids. Your app needs to be reconfigured or abandoned! ### 1/5 — Ion pro 2 *2026-05-22, version 2.1.2* Having trouble all the time ### 1/5 — Will not stay connected *2026-05-09* Even when the aids are 1 foot from me they won’t stay connected. Works great if they would stay connected. Batteries go down very fast! ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2026-04-29, version 2.1.1* Always telling me cannot connect when my hearing aids are in my ears. Must put in charging case then remove so app connects. Really frustrating and cumbersome!! ### 1/5 — So annoying *2026-04-26, version 2.1.1* App won’t stay connected, so every time I want to use the app, I have to put the hearing aids back in the charger and take them out. ### 2/5 — Serious problems *2026-04-19* Firstly, the charging case needs redesign ing- if you take out the aid you put away first I have found that, because the leads are crossed over one another, you pull out the other aid as well, which ends up on the floor. Secondly, there are serious problems with the Bluetooth connection. I have found it takes up to 5 times to connect the bluetooth and even then the connection can drop out, requiring them to be reprogrammed again. Third, on a positive note, the units operate well if they are just used as hearing sids. One personal problem however- I work in an area where there are lots of door access badge readers, so when in their proximity sll I get is a loud crackling noise from the aids. They are good for everyday use otherwise, just not at work. ### 1/5 — Application Needs Work *2026-04-18, version 2.1.1* The hearing aids are as good as others I've tried in the past, but the functionality of the application is poor. The devices constantly disconnect and I need to carry the case, constantly, in the event they disconnect.
