The app is intuitive and simple to use. I love being able to film my drums and have high quality audio synced automatically! My biggest complaint is when I pull in an audio file to record drums to. There is a noticeable delay between the imported audio and the drum track I record. It renders the whole thing unusable. If they would build in a way to drag the imported audio forward or backwards relative to the mic recorded track, it would easily solve this problem. I’m also not a fan of having to pay a subscription to use their advanced features. I would pay for it once but I’ll never pay a monthly subscription to access those features. Really a shame… ### 4/5 — I love it *2026-02-24* I love the mic for what it is, but I really wish you could use it outside of the app. That being said, you can easily transfer the files into another daw or video editor for extensive editing. The mic quality is REALLY good, and it really shines in its ease to set up and record great quality. ### 3/5 — App good subscription bad *2026-02-12* This app has come a long way since I started using it a few years ago! I think the “pro” subscription is pretty silly since you already have to pay over $200 for the mic. Just give us the editing tools that are already there. That being said my main want is for the main volume and pan grid to be changed to a grid similar to the “move” eq and reverb settings. It’s very frustrating to not be able to get levels right because my thumb is blocking me from seeing exactly where I’m placing the stem. Besides that and some annoying video glitches this is great! ### 2/5 — Lots of UX probs *2026-02-09, version 5.4.4* Mic seems great. Basic function of the app seems good. The experience around it is ROUGH. Seems like the are sign in / user instance issues. It’s also obnoxious to quickly scrap a recording and restart. Lots of weird extra screens pop up around uploading the file to the phone from the mic. Musicians are going to do a lot of takes until they get it right. It would be great if yall made it way easier to delete a recording and hit record again. ### 4/5 — App needs small edit *2026-01-29, version 5.4.4* Generally happy with my Audigo mic but we need a quick way to to delete old projects. It’s too cumbersome to have to manually select and confirm every project we want to delete. Thanks! ### 2/5 — DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. *2026-01-13* I spent $600 on 2 Audigo Mic’s and have been using them for some time. THE APP LOWERS THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO. I have the newest IPhone money can buy and still CONSTANTLY run into FPS and visual issues. Audio works fine, other then the fact that certain features are blocked unless you pay a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY PER MONTH. This is the only reason you didn’t get a 1 star. It would also be nice if it had a reel feature like instagram so I can combine all videos and delete some parts. And if it had a pause button would be nice. ### 3/5 — Understand Your Use Case Before You Buy *2025-12-15* Here’s what it’s good for: quick, simple and short little recording captures. Think one song at a time whether it’s a single track or you want to multitrack one song. What it’s NOT good for: lengthy recordings. I have recorded up to 70 minutes continuously, BUT the insistence on using the app as the “studio” is core to how you use it. This means lots of transfers over WiFi back to your phone which takes FOREVER. Then the same experience for the export of the multitrack for those same lengths. Add to that the glitchy connections even when already connected to your network, and even being physically co-located within 12 inches of your phone is a head scratcher. A simple solve would permit a hardwired import export using the USB-C, but it’s only used to charge the device. I would give 5 stars if the subscription plans were better, after already having to spend a decent amount on the mic. At first, the system was good, but kind of glitchy and frustrating to use. But with the update to version 4.3.3, they ironed out all of the issues I was having and it’s been rock solid since then. The easiest solution I’ve found for doing audio / video recordings with multi track capability. Update - finally PRESETS! Sometimes I can’t even open the app. It’s not my phone either literally every other app works. I have had it for almost 2 months and it has changed the way I record and write songs. It is so convenient. The recording is high quality, the tracks and editing features - reverb, eq - offer so much versatility. In my small multipurpose office, It allows me to capture and develop inspiration, where before, inspiration would have flown away before I could even get set up. With my Audio I’ve started a new project to record all my originals and it’s been fantastic. The one time I needed tech support, a real person - Armen - got back to me via email personally within 12 hours. by then I’d already followed trouble shooting and resolved the issue. he was personable and clearly wanted to help. One thing that I think might be an improvement would be the ability to duplicate tracks. Audigo is a great, well designed product and is well worth the price for any busy creative. ### 5/5 — Drummer here… *2025-08-01, version 5.1.3* Before using Audigo I was not having fun creating videos. Audio/video creep kept rearing its ugly head making my life a misery getting everything aligned. Not anymore. Audigo to the rescue! Everything lines up perfectly every time. Now I spend more time on what matters most: getting a good take recorded and getting a good mix. I’m loving life! I returned the device twice going Ang on a third to correct connecting issues. ### 1/5 — POS NOT WORTH $200+ *2026-01-13* My last review was deleted before I was able to submit it. I’m an audio engineer and producer and in my professional opinion you’re much better off syncing your song to what ever media or using a a real field microphone with a Hyper cardioid pattern this product as a really cool concept but until they work out the MANY BUGS I would not buy this it is simply a waste of money and time to try and get it to work in a pitch and by the time that the microphones start working the app 1/3 times will crash and the microphones will be stuck on record mode with no way to turn them off I’ve had to wait until one of the mics died to disconnect the other one… not sure if anyone else has had these problems but almost every time I’ve tried to film content with these mics something has hindered the creative process/actual filming a few times they deleted what I was recording MID RECORDING. It just stopped the video and the app crashed. Again it’s a really cool concept but is it worth spending over $200 absolute not. The audio quality is also worse than an sm57 which is $99 not over $200. It says "Failed to pair", and then it says the mic IS paired but offline even though it's on and in range. After this I can't do anything unless I delete and reinstall the app ### 1/5 — Can’t delete, charge every month *2025-04-24, version 5.0.2* No good quality ### 1/5 — Great Concept, Brutal Execution — Avoid Unless You Like Crashing and Silence *2025-04-06* I really tried to give Audigo a fair shot, but this product is just not ready for anyone doing serious work. Let’s start with the basics: the app crashes constantly. Whether I’m uploading files from the mic, downloading from the cloud, or trying to edit — it just gives up and crashes, usually right at the worst possible moment (like after 15 minutes of waiting for a video file to finish downloading). Recording long sessions? Forget it. A 1-hour session can generate 32GB of files, and the app needs to duplicate those files during export. That means if you don’t have 64GB of free space on your phone — yes, for one recording — you’re screwed. You can’t send it to other apps, drives, or even get it out of your device. It’s beyond impractical. Mic-to-phone transfers are finicky at best. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Totally unreliable. I reached out to support about all the crashing, and their only suggestion was to use the in-app “Report an Issue” button. I’ve done that several times and haven’t heard a single word back. Total radio silence. Just passing the buck to their “tech team” and then ghosting me. Unless you’re just playing solo acoustic guitar, using a single mic, and not using video, this product is hot garbage. Soooo difficult to trim audio to precision. 2. While recording, all seems fine. When played back, it’s like the the recording skipped certain sections of the recording process and what is played back are just moments that aren’t cohesive. I’ve upgraded the app via the App Store to the most recent version and I have the $7.99/month version of the audio. Should be no issues. 3. Transferring files: if someone has a more upgraded version, I.e. base level version versus the studio version and you are trying to share files, you can’t. All because the “versions” (upgrades) are different. I love it and I hope Audigo continues to grow and improve. I’d really like to see the product get into the $175 range, mainly because that’s what I feel like it’s worth. But I get it, R&D, etc. It’s a great product and there’s nothing else really like it. However, I find the leveling/panning interface within the app to be very frustrating. It’s nearly impossible to drag your tracks to a consistent and accurate level, and you never truly know where you’ve placed it. It’s almost like the pad size needs to be larger, and there needs to be numbers associated with the levels when you are dragging your tracks. Or at least some sort of axis system. Also, it would really be nice if the metronome was linked to a metered system within the session. For instance, if I wanted to split or move a segment/clip, I’m forced to move it by ear. Whereas in a DAW the metering is visible and I can move it exactly onto the beat. Additionally…come on already and let us duplicate tracks within a session :-) why should I have to record backup vocals in a chorus twice? I feel like these changes would allow musicians to spend more time in the app being creative. ### 5/5 — Outstanding little microphone! *2025-09-12* My use case is simple. I use of the microphone primarily for recording practice sessions of my solo and band sessions so I can listen back and improve. I wanted a good quality mic that didn’t require multiple steps to get the recordings onto my phone. I also wanted to add some basic effects if I wanted to share them out. I had those specs for years waiting for someone to make such a product. And here we are with the Audigo. The video feature is also quite handy. I’ve never used multitracking so can’t comment on that.
