Why did I pay for this? **Developer response:** Which info are you referring to? The app description explains the purpose of the app and how it plays the instructions at the beginning instead of doing that manually. Were you expecting something different? I'm sorry if that's not what you needed but I tried my best to do a good job in that and explained it in the description to the best of my ability. To me this was not worth the purchase even though just a buck. **Developer response:** Hi, I'm sorry that you had issues with the app. I only get aware of the issues when people send me an email and I usually reply immediately and push updates ASAP. Do you still have issues with the app? If so, please send me an email and I will fix any issues ASAP. Everyone would be laughing. Perhaps an option to toggle voices? Avalon doesn't really have enough moving parts to make this app worth $.99. Aside from the lack of polish(I get that not every app can have disco music), it would be awesome if the vocal cues were louder as we could barely hear the prompts. **Developer response:** Hi, I have released few updates after your review to update the voice over with the ones I got from professional voice over artists. Do you have any issues with those now? The app is for 0.99 because it's not an official app and there are costs for the developer to maintain and to pay Apple the annual fees. I'm sorry if that's too much, but Apple doesn't allow setting a price lower than that. If you have any issues with the app, can you please send me an email with them and I'll try my best to address them. Otherwise, can you please update the review with the latest concerns, or with good rating if you don't have any issues with it. I tried my best to address all issues people report within a couple of days and will continue to do that when possible. But it doesn't help you to set up the complete thing, such as knowing how many of each type of character should be in the game according to the number of players, or explains about the lady of the lake, nor about how to use the different special characters individually or combined. Also I thought it'd have a description of the characters. The button is barely visible. If so that would make it easier to add all the cards, since you wouldn’t have to hire the voice actors again. This would be awesome if you added that. If you do it would be awesome if the interface continues to be clean. Maybe add a button that toggles the option to add our voices. Thanks for making a cheap app. One final thing, could you add a rules section? Just something that explains how the game works. If that can’t work I could always check the rule book, or find something online, but it would be convenient to have everything in one place. ### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for *2022-06-01* This is a great audio assistance for the game!! I don’t play Avalon very often, and would prefer to be apart of the game. So having an audio assistant like this helps me participate and facilitate a game at the same time. I appreciate the effort and work the developers have put it. What makes the app great is that it is so simple and it is just to setup the game. I am an avid board gamer...nerd some would say. I have a dedicated room for board games with a custom board game table with over 300+ games. Trust me on this one. Click the characters you're playing with and hit play, doesn't get easier than that. The setup is the worst when you have new people because they laugh, or ask questions when you're trying to narrate live. When you tell them to just "shut up and listen to the instructions" even with newbs this app gets them right into it. I think this was this devs first game assist app, so I can't believe they're keeping this up to date and adding features/voices still. Pretty cool. I find it strange that there isn't a native app for this game on IOS but good someone came along and made it happen. Would still be cool if they add the ability to record your own voice over, but at a dollar what more could you ask for really. If theres another game that you find yourself having to narrate over and over again, do a quick search for these guys, they seem to be branching out to more games now.
