## What is Audio Guide for Louvre Museum?

An independently developed companion for exploring artworks in the Louvre collection, before or during your visit.

BROWSE AND SEARCH
Explore artwork photos and descriptions in the local catalog. Search by artwork title, room or technical details. Open a photo for a larger view.

LISTEN TO ARTWORK DESCRIPTIONS
Use text-to-speech to hear descriptions read aloud with your device’s installed voices. Catalog descriptions are available in English, French and Japanese. Voice availability depends on the description language and voices installed on your device.

CONSULT A REFERENCE MAP
Zoom and scroll a static reference map. Room assignments and displays may change; follow current museum signs and visitor information. The map does not provide live positioning or route navigation.

USE THE LOCAL CATALOG OFFLINE
The bundled catalog and reference map can be browsed offline. The interface supports ten languages. When a description is not available in the interface language, an available catalog language is shown.

FULL DESCRIPTIONS AND NARRATION
A one-time in-app purchase unlocks full descriptions and narration. Purchase and Restore options are available from the menu on an artwork’s detail screen.

This app is independently developed and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the Louvre Museum. References to the museum identify the subject of the guide.

### 1/5 — いらない

*2025-10-18*

必要ないものがあると、必要なものが探しづらい。アクセス悪くなる

### 1/5 — Old app not up to date

*2025-05-28*

At one time this was a very useful app. However, it is dated such that the room numbers displayed no longer correspond to the current room numbers. For example, Mona Lisa is not in the room numbered 6 anymore but now in 711. Also, the app now wants $1.99–whether it was free for me before or I paid, I don’t remember, but I had the full version and there is no option to restore a previous purchase. Of course, $1.99 would be a reasonable price for an app that is current, but not for this one now. The museum itself has a website that is better than this app in that you can select a room on the plan and it will show you everything in the room.

### 1/5 — Rip off as doesn't work

*2023-06-05*

Paid for App and didn't work at all . Tried everything . Crashes as soon as you try to select one of the buttons - should provide refund.

### 1/5 — Vraiment nulle et payante !

*2022-11-11*

### 1/5 — Poor overall

*2019-10-13, version 1.4*

Speaker is way too fast and speaks very monoton, without proper emphasis. Searching for paintings is a pain, no updated map. Would not buy it again.

### 1/5 — 정상작동이 안됩니다.

*2018-10-29*

구매 취소해 주세요.

### 1/5 — plz cancel my purchase

*2018-07-05*

i dont know that thus app offer only eng version.
i dont need this app
plz cancel my purchase :D

### 1/5 — useless

*2018-06-22*

its basically just a photocopy of the map

### 1/5 — Computer-Generated Voice + Not Free

*2018-05-28*

The audio is a computerized voice reading text. It’s excruciating to listen to. Plus, this app is NOT FREE as advertised. You can only listen to the audio or read the text of 3 artworks before being forced to pay $1.99 US. The charge isn’t much, but that should have been disclosed from the outset. This is not worth your money or your time.
