Had several TYPED notes. Had to update my IPad. Backed EVERYTHING up. The app opens with the Titles and dates of my notes, but is empty of notes. Years worth of work gone. Really tee’d off. #Won’tBe RecommendingThisApp# ### 1/5 — Not "crystal clear" *2016-01-11* I sit at the front of the classroom, literally on the FRONT ROW. I tried this app on my iPhone 6s Plus and my iPad mini. Both were extremely low volume with a lot of echo. As a backup, I used my digital voice recorder and GLAD I did. The recording with this app was too difficult to understand. I was hoping to eliminate keeping another gadget with me by using this app. If you are in college, use a backup until you know how this app will or won't perform for your needs. Great idea, just not a great app. ### 2/5 — Better if... *2016-01-11* Nice, basic. Better if the most used controls were on bottom for easier reach. Also would be handy to have record button along with + for new recordings. It would create a new note & immediately start recording instead of first dealing with title, etc. ### 3/5 — Needs better way to delete outdated recordings *2021-12-09* When you have acquired a long list of recordings it is a nightmare to try to delete the older recordings. After each delete, the list starts at the beginning and you have to scroll (and scroll (and scroll)) to get back to the bottoms to delete the next recording. It would be nice to have a way to select several recordings and then choose an option to delete them. I doubt the developer will enhance this any because Apple is forcing them to provide a privacy policy with their next release and I imagine they do not want to do that. ### 3/5 — Useful recorder, but lacks sync between sound & notes *2016-12-20, version 1.1* This is a really nice recording app, great for its ability to play back at different speeds and skip forwards by 5 sec whilst listening. What it lacks is something which is clearly possible (because another recording app does have it), namely the facility for skipping to the correct part of the audio recording by selecting a place in the the notes. The ability to take photos during recording and link them to the right place in the audio recording would also be extremely useful and lift it to another level. ### 3/5 — Useful *2016-04-19* I like this app. It would be much more useful if any text input could be correlated to the audio at the users discretion. ### 4/5 — Categories *2019-05-19, version 1.4* I have just started using while I am writing my book. Have to press "done" then restart from where it stopped. Would also like the ability to reorder notes. Rearrange them up or down. Best features: Ability to start recording again after stopping, playback speed choices, notes of any length.
