There is no warning and no undo! Given this fact, I would rather use another app because I can't afford to lose my recordings because I accidentally pressed the delete button. There should be a confirmation or warning upon pressing the delete button. Or at least implement a recycle bin to recover accidentally deleted files. If you fixed the above, I think app would be 5 stars. ### 4/5 — Vers Nice app - trés bonne appli *2019-08-01* Je l utilise pour mes prises de note en réunions et c.est super agréable, j enregistre les échanges et je retranscris après. But Would be Better with Apple Pencil *2018-06-19* When I take notes, it’s easier with a pencil. Especially in that classroom setting etc. Typing is great when writing but just isn’t The way to take notes naturally. I hope this app can add Apple Pencil integration and hand writing. Until then, I’ll stick with Notability for audio recording, handwriting and typing all in one app. That being said, if you don’t care about hand writing this app is terrific. ### 4/5 — great *2017-11-14* thanks. ### 4/5 — Great for note taking! *2016-09-15* When I take notes I have a tendency to get engrossed in what the speaker. The problem with this is that sometimes a lot of time goes between my notes and when I go back to them later I forget what was said. This app solves that problem. The only improvement that could be made to this is app would be to timecode the notes to match the recording time. App is great as I can add notes as prompts to my recordings. Control recordings track by track and email so I can access recordings on my PC, laptop or phone. Much better & more control than the expensive dictaphone I almost bought instead. I was so pleased I had to write a review to share my findings.. It'll be nice to have time and date stamp shorcut for notes and titles's notes. Highly recommend. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — First Attempt is a huge fail. *2023-01-14* I’m writing this as the meeting I’m taking notes for continues. The app has crashed 3 times on my iPad and loses all my notes. The first crash happened when I tapped a misspelled word to correct it. I found that all of the notes I had been taking for ~30 min were completely gone along with the recorded audio. I purposefully misspelled another word without the audio recording on and it crashed again. The 3rd crash was when I happened to tap two keys at once. Crashes happen, but when there’s no auto save of any kind, what’s the point of using this app? I got this app in a bundle and was excited to use it. The audio recording was appealing, but I have no faith in its ability to work and would rather take notes like normal just to make sure I don’t waste my time or energy again. ### 1/5 — Crashes! *2015-01-17, version 1.6* I read all the reviews and read the details which says runs on ios7, which i have. Up to date. So, I listened to the rude first reviewer and downloaded it. It will not open. Just crashes back to the app icon. Maybe the app info needs to be changed or the problem that makes it crash on iOS 7 , needs to be fixed. I use a lot ### 5/5 — Music rehearsal! *2019-08-28, version 2.7* I use this to record at old-time and bluegrass music rehearsals and for groups of 5 or 6, it works well. Haven’t tested larger groups. It works well. I would however LOVE to be able to email separate tracks rather than having to send everything captured in that file. If I did 7 recordings that day, the email sends out all 7 tunes.
