The recording aspect is fine, and they have a very active correspondence with their users. As I mentioned in emails, I found the trim function not equal in usability to similar products and not something I will use. I want my $5 back or my recording. ### 1/5 — Switch off AGC control! *2017-02-06, version 5.0* I urge the developers to implement the option to switch off the Automatic Gain Control which Apple implemented along the wax in ios. Why is it import do you ask? Because otherwise ALL accessories which this app so prominently supports (like external microphones which can be attached to the headphone jack) are rendered useless due to AGC! Also, if you close the app and listen in the background and swipe up from the button to reveal the iOS control bar, the RecorderApp control buttons will appear. However, of you press back or forward, the sound itself adjusts accordingly, but the time display remains as if you didn't press back or forward at all. It's super annoying for me, since I listen to lectures in the background and need to note the exact timing on paper! It's especially unlucky, because the newest update didn't fix this. ### 1/5 — TRASH *2015-05-29, version 3.0* This app doesn't do what it says to do. I paid $4.99 for this app and it couldn't play my recordings. It says to import from onedrive which I did but it directed me to purchase another of their app to open my file with. This app is not worth it. This is a ripoff.
