## What is Audio Recorder?

A recorder app developed in pursuit of simple operation, detailed recording format settings, enhanced playback effects, and spectrum display.
We can expect many uses such as business side such as meeting and entertainment system such as music.
※ Call recording is NOT supported.

- File format: wav, m4a
- Channels: Mono / Stereo
- Supports microphone selection (Bottom / Back) for monoral recording with the built-in microphone.
- Supports stereo recording (Front / Back) with the built-in microphone.
- Supports a wide range of sampling rates.
  - wav: 8, 16, 22.05, 32, 44.1, 48, 96, 192 kHz
  - m4a: 44.1, 48 kHz
- Bit depth (wav): 16, 24, 32 bits
- Bit rate (m4a): 64, 128, 192, 256, 320 kbps
- Supports recording in the background.
- Supports additional recording from the end. (save as a new file)

Playback :
- Graphical waveform display
- Quick jump back/forward of playback position. (Time can be set: 1 ~ 60 seconds)
- Repeat playback in specified section
- Time effect ("Speed / Pitch" or "Varispeed")
        - Setting of playback speed. (0.5x ~ 2.0x)
        - Setting of pitch. (± 1 octave) ※ In-App Purchase required
        - Setting of varispeed. (0.5x ~ 2.0x)
- 10 band equalizer. (32 Hz ~ 16 kHz) ※ In-App Purchase required
- Center Cancel / Center Emphasis
- Lch, Rch each mute
- Supports playback in background.

Trimming :
- Supports trimming of the recording file on the playback screen.
- The trimmed file reflect the values ​​set in "Speed/Pitch" or "Varispeed" and "EQ".

Spectrum Display:
- Displays the waveform of recording files and a real-time spectrum linked to playback.
- Supports zooming in the frequency direction of the spectrum.
- Channel display switching (Mix / L / R).
- Frequency axis display switching: Linear, Log
- FFT size: 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192
- Window function: Hann, Hamming, Blackman, None
- Octave analysis: FFT, 1/12, 1/6, 1/3, 1, calculation method: Max, Ave
- Pitch meter display.

Transcription screen :  (* Available on iOS 26 or later.)
Transcribes speech in the selected audio file.
The results are divided into recognized speech segments and displayed in cells with their start times.
Tap a cell to move to that position.

Other :
- Supports sharing the recording file to other apps.
- Supports saving the recording file to iCloud Drive.
- Supports change of the recording file name.
- Supports filtering display of file names in recording list. (search bar)
- Supports read recording files from iTunes.
- Supports recording using Bluetooth HFP (Hands-Free Profile).
- Supports Auto-Lock ON/OFF.

Note:
Stereo recording with the built-in microphone is limited to the following models (iOS 14~).
iPhone XS/XR, iPhone SE (2nd), iPhone 11~, iPad Pro 11 (1st~), iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd~)
If the model does not support it, the same sound will be recorded on Lch and Rch respectively.

When you stop recording, you have to press two separate buttons. The first one acts as a pause for a recording session (allowing it to be resumed it at a later time) and the second one is what completes the file saving. If you only do the first of these and forget to press the second, your phone screen might dim and trigger a background refresh. This will CORRUPT your voice memo and make it unplayable! Don’t make the mistake I did; disable that setting for this app!! I had this happen to me recently and it bummed me out.

EDIT: This just seems so convoluted. Guess it wasn’t so much the app refresh and hinges around the screen automatically dimming. I’ve had no issues with the app until this glitch and I’ve otherwise been happy with it.

Please check that “Auto-Lock OFF” is enabled in the app settings. Normally, simply having the screen turn off should not cause a recording to become corrupted.
If this happens again, please let us know the steps that led to it. I’ll investigate and see what we can do.

録音音声を再生すると音が大きくなったり､小さくなったり､聞いてられへん｡勝手にミュートする｡

こちらでは、再生時に音量が揺れたり消えたりする事象は見つかっていません。

以下について確認いただけるとうれしいです。
1. 再生がBluetooth経由の場合は、いったん解除してiPhone本体のスピーカーで再生
2. アプリを再起動
3. iPhone本体も再起動
4. 新たに録音を作成して、その録音でも症状が出るか確認

改善しない場合は、端末名、iOSバージョン、再生方法を教えてください。

最近のアプデで、モダンなUIになって嬉しいです！

ファイル名を変更する際に、既に同じファイル名があると変更に失敗してしまうので、自動で末尾に(2)という風にして保存してくれると嬉しいです。

iPadOS 26アップデートにより、iPadやiPad miniでさえも横向きのままウインドウ表示でアプリを使える様になりました! iPadで録音する事は無いのでこれで十分です! 無駄な抵抗は止めて横向きの全画面表示にでも対応したらどうですか 笑 笑
