Describe a vibe. Get a station built around it. Type something like "late-night neon synthwave drive" or "smoky midnight jazz club" and AudioAtlas Radio builds a mix around it — track after track, each one chosen to follow the last. THE MIX IS THE POINT This isn't a shuffled playlist. Every track is chosen to follow the one before it: compatible tempo, a harmonically adjacent key, a gradual shift in energy. The app blends them over three seconds, the way a DJ would. You can watch it happen — the tempo, the key and the energy of what's playing are on screen, and the queue shows you where the mix is heading before it gets there. STEER IT WHILE IT PLAYS Five controls bend the station without stopping it: • More like this — tighten the station around the track playing now • Energetic — push the whole station faster and harder • Calmer — ease it down • Surprise — jump to a fresh vibe • Flip — invert it and go somewhere contrary Whatever is playing keeps playing. The change arrives with the next track. IT'S COLOURED BY THE MUSIC The app takes its colour from the key of the track on air, placed on the circle of fifths — so as the mix moves through harmonically related keys, the colour drifts with it. A dial around the artwork shows you exactly where on the wheel you are. It's the sequencing, made visible. IT KEEPS PLAYING Playback carries on in the background, with the lock screen and Control Centre controls you would expect. Without an Apple Music subscription you hear Apple's 30-second previews, and a preview station runs to 24 tracks before offering to open the music in Apple Music. With an Apple Music subscription you can switch to full-length playback through MusicKit. Every track links straight to Apple Music.
