The only issue I had was that they don’t update the app with new great books like Dan Brown Orgins that should be there by now. And the Stephen King selection is laughable. I have another app that has every Stephen King book ever written on Audio. I read real books at home but at work that’s tough lol. So this is great I sleep better watch less tv less time playing on my phone. It takes me back to when I was a kid when the lights went out that was it. TV use to shut down at midnight in 🇨🇦 until the next morning. They’d play the national anthem and then colour bars across the screen with that high pitch noise. I so wish things were still like that. But they’re not and people need to put down the video games, and turn off the tv, and read an actual book which is the best always will be in my opinion but the audio is a close second. You get to request 1 book each month. A lot of people said they had a hard time but I got mine while still on my trial period. So as long as they add the book I want and update more often I’ll be happy to pay $14.99. Great books and you get the first in the series free. ### 2/5 — Skips chapters *2019-04-24* The app skips 2 to 4 chapters at a time and inserts chapters from random books not related to but you’re listening to you lose a lot of the momentum of the story as well as the context of what’s happening look for a different app to get complete stories in the order of the chapters were written ### 3/5 — I do like it but.... *2019-04-06, version 1.1.2* It never remembers where you are, you HAVE to remember to bookmark or you’re screwed. It doesn’t save bookmarks to a certain book either, it’s just a mass list of any of the book marks you’ve made. So you should manually delete the book marks once you’re done a book, and only read one book at a time or it could get confusing. There’s a 30 second rewind button but it would be helpful to have a 30 skip forward button; only because of the book mark issue. If you forgot to bookmark it’s incredibly difficult to find your place again. The chapters are WAY off. There’s 7 chapters according to the app on my current book, but there is actually 39 in total in the book. Again making it incredibly difficult if you’ve forgotten to book mark. Which lets be honest if you live a busy lifestyle, and this is likely why you’re listening to an audiobook anyway, can happen quite a bit. Those are my only three issues. The prices are reasonable, sound is clears, there is rarely any skipping or issues with quality. But I just can’t give it more than 3 stars due to these issues. ### 5/5 — Awesome app once you know how to properly use it. *2019-03-06* This app is great, great prices, great audio quality, and very popular books for free and new ones added often!!! Its not easy building a seamless app, it has its annoyances for sure, but the trick for me is so save my spot often and all the problems are easily dismissed. Thank you creators, and anyone who works to keep this running, I really appreciate all the hard work you do. I love fiction, so I love this app, but if you’re looking for self help books or anything other than fiction you should probably skip this one. It’s definitely a fiction lovers dream!!! ### 3/5 — App review *2019-02-28* Great choices for the first free books (5 stars). However, sequels are expensive. (1 star). App is easy to work(5 stars). I had lost a lot of money buying books that were deleted. They gave me a free year subscription to make up for my lost money. Not the point, those were mine forever, I bought them. I stayed faithful to this app despite the theft of my property, now the APP ISN’T EVEN WORKING AT ALL. Most of the books are garbage I don’t want to read and they hardly ever add new books to the collection. And reporting a problem with the app is laughable. This may be the last year I use this app due to terrible service. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. The recent issue was caused by a temporary Cloudflare disruption. Our service is now fully restored and running normally. We appreciate your understanding. ### 1/5 — Very disappointed *2024-08-10, version 2.6* I use this app earlier for a book or two and it was OK after I did subscribe for a year. There is no chance even next day you can get a refund and cancelled the subscription plus they don’t have books at all so it’s just a waste try some other apps. ### 1/5 — The no download *2024-01-29, version 2.2* I would really love to write a review, but, for some reason I can’t download the books. Then it takes a week before I can try again.I know this is not a review, but, I can’t get on to the complaint section of your site. ### 1/5 — Worst Audiobook App experienced *2023-01-21, version 2.2* Even when you go Premium it’s a lack of all book, user functionality and glitchy patience of the app itself. I went all in for the upfront $95 fee by accident but support never responds to any messages. I sent feedback along these same lines as above described and no one has reached out at all. You have to send texts messages to your contacts in order to listen to certain things. And you do not get the option to buy anything. You have to keep hassling your contacts for 24 hours of air time!
