If you pause for too long you will definitely lose your place if u haven’t put a bookmark there. Additionally not all the request are uploaded straight away but thats understandable as there are so many. ### 4/5 — so good! *2026-08-09, version 1.4.0* i've been using this app since January and i've had no issues! it's completely free and all you have to do is watch an ad every 30ish minutes!! the only issue i have is that: when i request audiobooks, they never usually get uploaded and the app is also quite slow. but the fact that it's free makes everything else fine! (i also listened to starside like the week that the audiobook came out, which was amazing!) ### 4/5 — Why did they changed the app *2026-06-02, version 1.4.0* I used to always use this app and it was wonderful i had some books saved there but few days ago the app got some bugs and i had to delete it thinking it would fix it but jokes on me they had an update a horrible update that not only changed all of the categories and deleted almost every contemporary book but it also removed my data the ones i saved for later now I’m stuck here if i should move on or will they fix this bug i mean the UI wasn’t it’s best suit but at least it had every book I wanted now they have literally nothing i loved this app i hope they return it back to how it used to be ### 3/5 — It was good, until… *2026-05-31, version 1.4.0* Was great for like 6 months, adds every 30 minutes, great selection, you can request books but imma be real I don’t think they listen to that since so many people spam in the chat. Then I started having trouble in the app when the adds were unskippable. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it worked up until there was another add 30 minutes later, which lead it to be unskippable again. Then this cycle of uninstalling, reinstalling, signing in, watch add, listen to my book for 30 minutes, and repeat happened. There’s a TON of books to choose from. However, it started closing out and I would lose my place. So I deleted the app and re downloaded it. Now it will only give me options of historical books. Books that I previously listened to aren’t even an option anymore. Why? The fact that I only have ads every 25-30 minutes or so is amazing. The only thing that irritates me a little bit is the voice saying “open app and watch a short add break” and continues talking while you are watching the ad. I don’t mind the ads, just the reminder to watch an ad while watching it is a little annoying. Other than that, it’s an amazing recourse for listening to audiobooks! Also, the feature for requesting books is so great, and works so fast! ### 2/5 — Needs a ton of fixes *2026-04-20, version 1.4.0* The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the app itself is actually amazing given what it offers. However, the fact that the app constantly closes, won’t open again without restarting my phone and doesn’t always keep its place when you’re listening to a book, that causes it to fall insanely short! It seems like a bug that could be fixed by the developer but the actual conceptual portion of the app is great. Overall though, having to take consistent screenshots of the timestamp of the where I am in a book causes me to dislike it a lot. It’s not even like it’s a random issue, it’s consistent and has been for weeks and across devices. Audible, for one. This app is a godsend and one of a kind. No subscription, just ads.
