Nothing complicated, just a simple mixer so you don’t have to go into each individual track in edit mode to adjust the levels separately. It’s been handy for my writing ideas on the go. ### 4/5 — Let’s fix the latency!! *2022-05-05, version 1.5.43* Would have been 5 stars because it’s fun to play with. Question: It would 5 stars if i could shift the individual tracks to deal with latency issues. Could someone please show me if this is possible, or let’s make it a reality. Thanks though either way! ### 5/5 — I had no idea how great this was until I tried others *2021-12-20, version 1.5.42* This was the first multi-track recorder app I ever used. I just wanted something to play around with to make some accapella doowop-type short recordings just for fun. This is perfect. I was disappointed that I couldn't put a track on a loop, but I found that none of the other simple recorders offer that either. Some of the more involved recorder apps, that offer beats and samples and such, have the loop option, but I have found those apps far too complicated to even try to figure out. Comparing this app to other simple recorders, this one allows you far more tracks (I don't even know the limit; I've mixed ten in one session so far), and allows you to edit the sound in ways that others either make you pay for or don't offer at all. ### 5/5 — Audiobridge *2021-09-19, version 1.5.41* I love this music recording app you can download beats, mix and master, it’s free, you get reminders when you have been slacking on recording and perfecting your craft, you get the option to share on other platforms, you can delete and redo as many times as you want, you can invite friends who do music as well and collab. I recorded some major hits on this app and you can save it to your files and listen anytime even if you deleted them off of audiobridge. Using audiobridge there is absolutely no competition it’s literally you doing what you do best. ### 5/5 — A gem *2021-06-04, version 1.5.37* I was searching for a long while for the perfect multi track recorder. This one is so simple and you can also share tracks with friends which is a bonus. Hands-down the best recorder to put down ideas really quickly. Interface is not the prettiest but it is very functional. About an hour after downloading it, i had already started recording stuff and it’s come out great. i will be uploading a short, experimental lil project i recorded and will release it on streaming platforms soon under the name blitzthespittah if curious. the only issue i have with the app (and i may just be overlooking something) is when i highlight a part of a track, there’s no option to delete that part of the track. i’m only able to trim but trimming it just cuts out everything EXCEPT the highlighted part i want to remove. other than that, great app! **Developer response:** Hi there! thank you so much for your review, we are so glad to hear you're enjoying audiobridge. Add as many parts as you want. My only con is it took me a while to figure it all out because there aren’t any instructions except for a very very basic tutorial when you first open it. The app site doesn’t have anything and I couldn’t find anything online. I love the workflow. I’ve been looking for something to record with that’s super easy and not too much going on and this is it. The only problem I’ve seen though is when I export audio files, it doesn’t safe my panning. Sometimes when I delete my sessions, the app still thinks it’s there. Since I don’t have premium, I’m only limited to five sessions. And sometimes it thinks I didn’t delete any and I can’t make a new one. I have to wait a day or two to make a new session. I do have 2 suggestions; 1. Enable the app to rotate to landscape, for those of us who use a 12.9” iPad Pro. 2. Add a feature to select and silence unwanted noise within a track (like someone coughing) so I don’t have to delete the track and start over. Not for serious use *2023-06-19* Frustrating and disappointing that there is a trim function but no splice. Also the UI for editing tracks is clunky: the sliding selectors are hard to control precisely, only the second one can be finely placed. And it doesn’t seem to sidescroll while highlighting from the beginning of a track, which unfortunately breaks it completely for my needs. Unfit for extended or serious use for these reasons. Fun to play around with, good software foundation, which is why it’s all the more disappointing: it could easily be 10x better if these issues were sorted. And they are very simple and obvious it seems. Also, logging in for extra features is totally unnecessary, and slightly slimy. Why that? **Developer response:** Hi there and thanks for the feedback! We will definitely expand the free offering as we have more confidence in these features (is this what you were referring to?) • as for the UI issues, we’d love to get more detailed feedback if you’d be willing to send screenshots or more detail on the issues. feel to email us directly if you have any other questions and concerns at support@audiobridgeapp.com Thanks for using and we hope you’ll reconsider your rating after spending more time with the app (and after we push our next round of updates). ### 1/5 — Extremely buggy, do not bother *2021-07-21, version 1.5.40* It’s infuriating the amount of bugs this app has, goes all the way from tabs disappearing to audio tracks falling out of sync being delayed from the other tracks, it functions like a mess, audio quality and volume levels drop by half after getting exported I highly do not recommend it, it works fine for a while but then becomes a nightmare where you have to restart every 3 minutes from the amount of bugs it has ### 1/5 — App keeps crashing when exporting *2020-01-11, version 1.5.13* I have a project I’ve put a good amount of time into, but I can’t get it off the app to send or upload it. When I tap the export button, both export options (as single audio file, and individual tracks) cause the app to pause and crash. I’ve updated my iOS and made sure all permissions were on, but still no luck. I thought maybe I could retrieve it online, since the app made me upload my projects once it made me create an account, but email verification is not working. When I try to verify, I simply get a dialog that says “generic error.” Next time I’ll just use audacity on my pc. **Developer response:** Hi Piotris, Sorry you’re having trouble. Thanks and sorry again for the trouble! ### 2/5 — Perfect idea, riddled with bugs *2023-08-31* In theory this app is *exactly* what I and many musicians need in an ultraportable DAW. In practice there are so many bugs as to make it unusable. In particular, sometimes playback simply does not work, and if you record enough tracks and try to bounce them you invariably end up with lag. You have to go back into the settings every single time you reopen a track to turn audio effects back on, and you have to toggle the button 2-4 times before it actually turns on your ability to use audio effects. It’s also weirdly hard to share with collaborators— it seems to be random whether sharing options show up or not. Do better! Please! We need you! ### 2/5 — MP4 playback - tracks not synced *2021-10-05, version 1.5.41* I was using this app to record vocal parts for a vocal team and when I first started using it I didn’t have any issues. Then for the past week I have spent hours and hours recording new songs only to find that when the MP4 is created the playback doesn’t have the tracks synced anymore so they are worthless. I want to cry!! ### 3/5 — Very good app but need some fixing *2023-10-23* Very easy to use and very affective but the login process is frustrating and annoying. Then the fact that you have to pay money to have more than 5 recordings is pretty bad. If you want people to spend money for more recordings, make them pay on the App Store not after. Really good app that I will use a lot, but definitely needs some work. Make the login optional and make the money at the download or not at all. ### 3/5 — It’s good *2020-12-24, version 1.5.29* I love this app. It’s great for someone starting out and learning the ins and outs of making music. I only have four stars for three reasons: First, when I go into the setting and check all the boxes for open editing and using the equalizers and so forth, at random, they will uncheck themselves and I have to constantly recheck them. Second, the “trim” tool is very testy and doesn’t reflect what the user wants: It doesn’t trim, it removes everything. And third, ever time I plug in different headphones the tracks switch places at random and I have to reset the equalizer and other settings for each headphone. Even with these hiccups, I still love this app. **Developer response:** Hi! Thanks for the review and feedback. We’d love to help resolve these. Thanks again for your feedback and glad you’re enjoying audiobridge! ### 3/5 — Lots of potential, needs some work. *2020-11-23, version 1.5.27* My friends and I have been using this app a lot to collaborate through quarantine, and we love it, but there are a few things that just don’t seem to work. First of all, the contact system has never worked for me. All of my friends are in my contacts list and have their numbers saved through the app, and yet I they don’t show up on the contacts list in the app. That’s a bug that really needs to be fixed. Secondly, even if you do share your songs with that person, probably via the complete user list, there is no way to stay connected with them. So an add friend feature would make this app so much better. Those are my two main gripes, although there are also some issues with the sound not quite matching up with the visuals. Other than those things, great app, but I would love to see the developers listen to the community make some changes. **Developer response:** Hi Aristtotle! Thanks for the feedback, well received. Somehow AudioBridge is designed so there won’t be a delay between takes when recording with AirPods like there is on GarageBand. Simple, uncluttered and straightforward interface. Makes it easy to get an idea down without having to sift thru menus and extra features you don’t need. Great tool, thank you AudioBridge! ### 5/5 — Simple and Elegant *2023-03-24* This app is exactly what I needed to help me layer tracks to build song ideas. Other apps I tried were overly complicated for what I needed to do, and clunky to use which made it hard to stay in a creative flow. This app has just the right amount of functionality to get a rough song/part down, play it back, rinse and repeat. It has a social feature which allows you to share a project with others which I haven’t tried yet but sounds exciting. One function that I noticed that would benefit myself and others is to add a “track rewind” button so that you can get to the start of the track with one button. Otherwise excellent in every way. I found Audiobridge and after the tutorial I was capable of making almost radio ready demos. I multi track guitars, vocals and piano. Editing and adding effects are very easy. It’s definitely a great tool for recording a quick demo, or to play around with ideas! I’ve had a little trouble sending the recordings though, that’s my only complaint so far! ### 5/5 — Audiobrige Covers the Gap *2022-10-19, version 1.5.46* Simple, sufficient and easy to use audiobridge makes up for the lack of formidability that other providers of like services fall short upon. With a 2-button exportation process and easy file title designation Audiobridge has an instinctively understanding and forgiving interface. This is an app which allows those with no technical recording experience to create tracks of powerful impact. The equalizer is intuitive and remarkably responsive to my amateurish attempts to clear my songs of muddling and confusion. I reccomend Audiobridge to current and future recording artists. Its a wonderful thing to hone your craft and Audiobridge brings a level of beauty to that process.
