I did find it was good linking my Vast dlna devices and it synced them very well as one device but a recent update 6 months ago stopped the app finding my devices. I know it was not designed for my devices but the user side of the app was great for what i needed it for. The update was quickly reversed within 2 or 3 weeks and it now works as it did before but it now says another update is available and I'm reluctant to download it. So it is a good app but it might have changed if the update is anything like the last one. ### 2/5 — Can’t connect! *2020-11-05, version 2.8.8828* The latest version is broken. They were never brilliantly reliable but they worked ok most of the time and it was nice to be able to play the same music in two different rooms. Since updating my OS to iOS 13, I can no longer pair with the devices. I’ve tried rebooting phone, unplugging the devices, reinstalling the app, all to no avail. I followed the link to app support, and was taken to a website that doesn’t mention AudioCast, and has a link to ‘support’ that is broken. As things stand, I’ve spent £60-odd on two devices that are effectively useless after a few months. ### 2/5 — So close but then it stopped *2019-10-19, version 2.8.6715* First, I got a new iPhone and now this doesn’t work. I emailed the company and no one responded. Second, though it went through WiFi when I first got it, it would stop when a call came though. A newly purchased unit lost ALL functionality well within the warranty period. I tried the app’s feedback, email, Facebook - ALL means - and was COMPLETELY ignored. Finally, months later, I asked the retailer for help. They sent a replacement which NEVER worked. Not one single day. I could not update firmware. The retailer put me in touch with a rep who gave me troubleshooting tips and not one of them made any difference. This was a complete waste of money. I would strongly suggest people spend $ elsewhere. I love that I can play Spotify over anything with a 3.5mm jack in the house. I have a puck upstairs in the hall way, connected to a little boombox, one next to the entertainment center in the tv room, and one in the garage. It's like I have a full home surround system for less than $300. To get the and effect with a Sonos or AirPlay it would be easily over a thousand dollars. ### 5/5 — Wow and wow again *2017-04-22, version 2.8.4222* Bought two of the audiocast devices to test this out, and downloaded this app. Wow. This was easy. The Audiocasts are tiny and comes with a 3.5mm audiocable and micro USB. And this app just connects it trivially, wifi setup is so easy and pairing speakers into multi room just a drag and drop operation. So easy it brought literally chills down my spine. Amazing tech. But when I updated to ios13, the app says I’m not on a wifi connection and doesn’t go passed that page. I can still airplay to it natively, but I won’t be able to do the advanced stuff like pairing multiple audiocast’s. Please update your app to work with the new iOS and you will go back to the 5 star review that I believe you deserve.
