## What is AudioCat?

AudioCat is an accessible audiogames platform designed to be fully focused on audio, leaving the visuals to your imagination - that way, only the sky is the limit!

Virtual Companion - When you enter the platform, you will be greeted by your very own cat companion, and you will hear more about its backstory. After that, you can give it a name. You also need to keep in mind that you need to feed your pet to keep it full so you can go on amazing audio adventures together. There will be more options to interact with your pet in the future.

Audiogames - Right now, the AudioCat platform has two audiogames that have both been designed and developed by our team.

Wordy is a word-based audiogame where you need to guess the correct word after the given definition. The game will play five rounds, and then the points will be calculated together. Also, at the end of the game, you will earn XP and coins.

Echoes of Valor is an adventure RPG audiogame that focuses on the moral questions about good and evil. The main storyline is 25 levels long, and it is followed by infinite levels if you wish to continue. At the end of each level, you will earn XP and coins.

Coins - They are used to buy food for your pet to fill up its hunger meter and still have the chance to play the audiogames. Soon, coins can be used in the in-game store where you can purchase different pets, accessories, clothes, and colors.

Levels and XP - They work together since one does not go without the other. You earn XP from games, which will increase your level. Levels give different bonuses in different audiogames.

Summer Confirmed Updates - Third official audiogame and a framework that will give you the chance to create your very own audio adventure and share it with your friends, as well as go crazy in the in-game store. Also achievement system and in-game store will be added with updated home and profile screen.

Although clearly unfinished, this audio gaming platform shows the potential to be absolutely revolutionary when it comes to games for the blind. Right now, the two games we can play our a word game, where you match words with there definitions, and a fully fledged RPG, with stats, weapons, and upgrades. Both games are quite intriguing and addicting. It’s funny, when you’re asked to match words with definitions at school, it’s the worst, but if it’s presented as a game, it’s awesome? I mean, I’ve always loved writing, so that’s probably why I love it so much. That brings me into the next thing I wanted to say about this platform. The overall theme of the entire thing is honestly amazing. They’re not just games, they make you think about philosophy as well as communication, two of my favorite things in the world. While I wouldn’t say the subscription is worth it at the moment, I have read that the development team is working on making even more games and improving the ones they already have. From what I’ve read, they’re going to make the RPG into a free movement audio game, making it the first of its kind since a Blind Legend. They also plan on making some sort of adventure game, which seems interesting, however, I haven’t been able to get much information on it as of now. Whatever the case may be, I am supporting this company with everything I have, as they have the right idea, and with time, I’m confident that they will change thee very foundation of gameing for the blind forever.

Hello. This is a great game. Don’t get me wrong, i don’t mind paying for things, however, at least some aspects of the game should be free, such as being able to play a game once a day or something, at least some part of the game should be available for players who can’t/don’t want to pay.

Definitely has potential and looking forward to more games being introduced in the future, but the echoes of vallor has accessibility issues.  E.g. users are told to turn off voiceover as the game is self  voicing, however without voiceover it’s not possible to interact with the game. For the fights for instance you can’t do anything and have to turn on voiceover to fight the battle.  That’s fine, but more explanation would be preferable.
