Shelves now run to the edge of the screen, so you can tell there's another book past the last one rather than a thin sliver. The top row is drawn larger than the ones under it, each row sits on its own line, and content fades softly off the top the way it already did at the bottom. Tap a book's cover to look at it properly. The artwork lifts off the page and fills the screen — pinch to see it closer, move it around, and throw it aside when you're done. Books in testing behave themselves again. The switch in Settings is now the only thing that decides whether they turn up. Plus smoother animations throughout. ### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-25 Audiobooks have never felt this immersive! Opt in for free to explore more books that are still being refined and help us test them before their wider release. We’ve also refreshed onboarding and made story length, depth, and overall experience much clearer—so it’s easier to choose your next listen. Plus: more reliable book streaming and versioning, stability improvements, and small refinements throughout the app. ### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-19 Nod and shake detection is dramatically better. We rebuilt how the app reads your head movement and tested it against real listening sessions — sitting, standing, walking, on the bus. A nod is now recognised as a nod, a shake as a shake, and a shrug as neither. Fewer missed choices, far fewer accidental ones.
