## What is AudioGameAccess?

AudioGameAccess is a platform of games played entirely by ear, made for blind and visually impaired people. Sounds guide you, and VoiceOver tells you everything else.

The games:
- archery, in three levels, and bowling;
- Feather Flight, a skill game;
- card games: Ninety-nine, Crazy Eights, Golf, President, a colour card game, and a car race played with cards;
- a five-dice game, with its combinations to fill;
- hangman, Sea Battle and a word game on a grid of letters;
- Métropole, a city-building game where you are the mayor.

Every game has its own manual, in English and in French.

On iPhone, two ways to play:
- with VoiceOver, the whole screen becomes the game: you play with gestures, without looking for buttons;
- without VoiceOver, real buttons, cards and dice to touch, in large text and high-contrast colours for visually impaired players.

Play with others: online, open a table, invite your friends or play against bots. Chat in writing and by voice, send private messages, keep a friends list and follow the leaderboards. A game can be saved and resumed later.

Offline, every game can be played alone or against bots, with no account.

To play online, create a free account with your email address. Other players never see it. You can block or report a player, and delete your account from the app.

3D sound on headphones places every sound around you.

### 5/5 — An AWESOME collection of audio games!

*2026-10-19*

I'm a totally blind iPhone user who uses Voiceover. I stumbled upon Audio Game Access while searching for blind accessible games in the Apple Games app. I LOVE EVERYTHING about the app! My ONLY suggestion is that for the offline games, PLEASE add the ability to pass one device back and forth between players! Let's face it: If you're on an airplane, and you're playing, say, 99, against a bunch of bots, your friend sitting in the seat next to you might say something like, "What game are you playing?" You'd say, "Ninety-nine." They'd say, "Can I join in on the fun?" With pass-and-play, they could! The user could type the name of each player, and the device could be passed back and forth between them! No Internet connection required, and you'd DEFINITELY encourage in-person competition between players! But other than that, GREAT APP! Looking forward to seeing what updates you will bring to it!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much, Angela! We're thrilled you found us and enjoy the games. Pass-and-play is a great idea, and we've passed it on to the whole team. More games and updates are on the way. Have fun!

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-21

New: a word game. A grid of letters: find as many words as you can before time runs out, alone with eight timer modes, or at the casino with up to 8 players on the same grid.

The colour card game: at the casino, the game follows VoiceOver and the bots wait until each card is said. When you intercept, you keep the turn. In a run, the 9 and the 0 follow each other.

Give each bot a name: in the table's list of players, Actions, Rename the bot.

Messages: delete a private conversation, for you only.

Friends: each request you receive has its Accept and Refuse buttons.

Leaving a table while the game is speaking always works.

Permission requests, such as the microphone's, are in your language.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-19

Three new games:
• Métropole, a city-building game where you are the mayor. Lay roads and zones, bring electricity and manage the money: the city grows on its own, month after month. One finger moves one square, three fingers move ten, double-tap to build.
• Bowling: the World Cup, on a lane you hear in stereo. Take your place, aim, then throw in three steps. Alone, against a bot, in practice, or online with a friend.
• A colour card game for 2 to 10 players: play a card of the same colour, number or symbol, and call out your last card. Against bots or online, with many variants.

Feather Flight can now be played online, one to four players, with two leaderboards.

Nicer to play:
• Online, the game goes on while you are in a menu or in Settings, and you hear everything.
• You play as soon as "It's your turn" begins; too early, and the game tells you at once.
• A two-finger tap silences the current sentence without losing anything of the game.
• When the server restarts, the game tells you and reconnects on its own.
• What the game says is also shown at the bottom of every view.
• The History is a real list, one message per line with its time; the VoiceOver rotor "Games and rounds" moves from one game to the next.
• In every view, Actions, The list of gestures shows that view's gestures.
• In several games, new lines in Actions: the game's rules, save the table, add or remove a bot.
• Each game's instructions are rewritten with the iPhone's gestures.
• Hangman and Feather Flight now have their drawings.

Fixes:
• Sea Battle: the bot chases a hit ship until it sinks; applause or a whistle at the end; the leaderboard counts the winner's accuracy; several bugs fixed.
• The dice game: you hear another player's dice during their turn; online, the 10-second warning lasts the whole turn.
• Card games: pausing keeps your thinking time, and "Back to menu" asks first.
• The manuals are rewritten and checked against the game.
