### 3/5 — Good

*2014-05-20, version 1.2.4*

The app is good if you are listening to just music and not walking around in your house. Use buffer option for better quality of reception.

If you are watching movie, not a good experience with lip sync. Good thing is if you are watching movie from vlc player then you could adjust the play back option.

And, No the website is not expired. I was able to download the PC server.

### 3/5 — Works

*2011-11-03*

Yes, once you figure it all out, the pc's sound come out of the iphone's speaker, delayed by about 1/2 second. You can turn up the volume on the iPhone and it sounds pretty good.

I grade them down for the awful and inintuitive user interface in the iPhone app and in the AudioServer.

For example, in the AudioServer, you check "Vista core audio" to transmit from the computer's speaker and uncheck it to transmit from the microphone. What language is that in?

On the iPhone, you have to click on the complicated looking number to start the audio. How about "Start Audio" or something? Users are human beings, not mind readers.

### 4/5 — Works great but needs background audio

*2010-07-30*

Works great but needs background audio for ios4

### 4/5 — Works Great. & Cheaper than wireless headphones!

*2009-10-30, version 0*

Does exactly what it says. Only the occasional flakiness of wireless networking can make it seem a bit buggy to get going sometimes. Mostly, it just works!

### 1/5 — Test app worked, but the real application did NOTHING

*2009-08-03*

I cannot tell you my frustration with this application. I first downloaded the test application for obvious reasons. Who wants to pay for something that is not going to work, right.

The test application worked flawlessly. The sound was clear, clean and smooth. After I installed the real application the best I was able to get was a couple of seconds of choppy sound, then nothing. I contacted the developer, and was told to contact the iTunes store to ask for a refund. The iTunes refund policy is all sales are final, so let the buyer beware!

### 1/5 — Useless

*2009-08-02, version 0*

There is a significant delay with the real time sound of the computer and no mention of it in the description. I don't think it's right to advertise this as a wireless headphone replacement if the sound is delayed when you watch a video, which the main reason for using wireless headphones. So far I don't recomend this app at all.

### 5/5 — e-mu 1616m

*2009-07-26*

works perfectly with win xp and e-mu 1616m sound card. you just need to remember to turn up the aux1 bank of volume controls instead of the main volume controls for the sound card. very happy with this app.

### 2/5 — Naive

*2009-07-25, version 0*

I naively thought I could watch my apple TV and use Audioln to make wireless headphones. Unfortunately I can't do it and it is quite cumbersome to use due to having to change the audio driver all the time. Bleh.

### 4/5 — Great

*2009-06-28*

Great but sound for me was a little off but other than that I liked it.

### 4/5 — Superb

*2009-06-03*

I am very happy with my purchase. This app enabled me to listen to my computer audio output from anywhere in my house. There is no sound delay or latency as long as the WiFi network is not being taxed by downloads and other computers. I am now able to watch movies and experience high-volume audio without disturbing anyone.

Another great feature of this app is its ability to control my computer from anywhere in the house. While the touch pad component cannot be used without being in front of the monitor, the command buttons could be used from anywhere. I programmed the command buttons according to my VLC player hotkeys and now I am able to use this app as a remote control for VLC player. I genuinely recommend purchasing this app.

### 1/5 — Waste of Money

*2015-10-10, version 1.2.4*

Waste of money

### 1/5 — Really bad. Don't spend your money on this

*2015-06-12, version 1.2.4*

Just doesn't work. Windows 8 and iPhone 6

### 1/5 — Ms

*2013-09-10, version 1.2.4*

When you open this App after buying it and downloading it, it tells you have to download the audio server application from a website. Well, the website has expired. Therefore the App is useless. Download this and you will be ripped off like I was.

### 1/5 — Use as a last resort.

*2013-07-30*

It functions.. But if you care about what it actually sounds like, don't bother. But some nice thought went into the app with the keyboard shortcuts and stuff. Too bad the main function isn't that great :/

### 1/5 — Mac users bid forewarning - not Mac friendly, LAN & WiFi issues

*2011-12-15, version 1.2.4*

Soundflower is a great little kext/driver/system file that has been utilized in several different media applications to enhance the ability of audio configuration and usage.

This application however does not utilize those features!!! It merely uses Soundflower to bridge the connection but does not establish or lease the connection inevitably leading to garbled/delayed/Intermediate/no sound quality!

*TmX86 users beware.. I've been having serious problems with Voodoo and Soundflower causing my audio to go mute usually requiring a reinstall

*VM usage will totally destroy any functionality

I am running this on a MacBookPro8,2 with success in only one direction out of the following (note: any network disruption such as an Ethernet connection or wifi disconnect will indefinitely cause the program to crash and/or require a restart and a new lease for the phone and pc):

WiFi to LAN
Useless. The connection becomes garbled no matter what stream size is set.. Unlock the ports, still no luck.. Clearly this was made merely for wireless connections.

WiFi to WiFi
Serious problems... Not only causing my battery to drop at abnormal rates but application crashing and wifi troubles afterwards usually requiring a reboot. If the screen locks, the wifi drops and so does the connection. Even when l keep it active, it inevitably becomes garbled or delayed. If you have only a wifi connection, your best option is to emulate lion and dedicate it to the audioserver as a bridged (not NAT!) connection.. Windows will fail for sure as a VM. Works reasonably on boot camp

WiFi to adhoc
This is the most stable connection allowing for system sleep on both machine and iphone with active connections established and maintained due to Macs adhoc support between the iPhone iOS and lion.. The battery life is flexible and The audio sounds great at any stream rate as long as you have a LAN connection then I would suggest using this route. The only problems arise from NAT enabled VMs and wifi channel interruptions.

Very disappointing that I couldn't find a considerably reasonable workaround for using this as I was hoping it would be pretty flexible with networking but anyway. If your desperate for a cheap Bluetooth speaker replacement then ad-hocking is the way to go, Bluetooth tethering + adhoc network = stop and go audio solution

### 1/5 — Don't buy stick with free

*2011-01-29, version 1.2.4*

Nothing elaborate here... It's a failed attempt, take it off the market! They know it's faulty, yet make no updates and they keep selling...(iGreed?) Trust the growing number of disappointed people! One star is one too many.

### 1/5 — Forget it

*2010-11-07*

I used this app for over a year. It has some serious issues quitting, crashing and distorting sound. I was not able to watch a movie once without having to restart my phone, computer or both.

Lately it totally stopped working. Every time I start it, it makes a screeching noise that keeps on getting louder. I send an email to support and got no answer.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2010-08-08, version 0*

V1.2.3 doesn't even load on my iPod touch (2G)

### 1/5 — Mac users stay away!

*2010-01-15, version 0*

This application does not work as advertised!!!! Also, you cannot easily remove the software that you have to install on your mac. Airphones is rated lower, but it's simple to install and use!!!

### 1/5 — Pathetic app

*2009-11-11*

Trail version was good.. After that downloaded the full version
The audio sounds pathetic.. it breaks continuously
Even the touchpad functionality is not smooth
I am running Vista 64 bit and iPhone 3.1
Do not recommed to anyone
Wasted my 2$ :(

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2017-02-27, version 1.3.1*

We are successfully using this app in a theatre performance to recieve audio cues from QLab to sound out through a speaker embedded in a prop. The interface could be cleaned up a bit but really it is bare bones and does the job perfectly. Much cheaper than buying/renting a wireless reciever pack.

### 5/5 — Pretty Good

*2011-11-02, version 1.2.4*

I was skeptical at first of this app, so I tried the free version and was very pleased with the results and I upgraded to the full version. When the buffer is set to its lowest, I am able to watch a TV show without noticeable lip sync issues. I do recommend trying before you buy because different network configurations may affect your results.

### 5/5 — Iheadphones and mouse for pc

*2011-02-01, version 1.2.4*

It works great on windows 7 on an asus motherboard with a i7 2600k processor. Wireless headphones on wireless g and a mouse control, worked for me.

### 5/5 — It Works

*2010-05-12*

I had to redownload my audio drivers from realtek and enable the mixed audio from my control panel, also, i had to disable the vista core mode from the server program, (I use windows 7 x64) but once it works, it works great. Theres a little lag sometimes, but if you will use it for audio only, the audio quality is very good. If you will use it to watch with videos, you need a good wifi connection and need to put the streaming buffers to a minimum. For most of the videos you cant notice the lag, but for others theres a little milliseconds lag going on. Its not really that bad and is very rare. I live in Brazil. A good bluetooth or wireless headset costs more than $50 here, so for most of my purposes this program works and for the price of a snack. Before you buy, try the free version to make the adjustments you need to make it work for you.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2010-03-10*

Works perfect. Did not have any lag issues or timing out

### 5/5 — Great

*2010-02-28*

I see some people are experiancing lag with the sound while watching movies, If you star treaming and hit play on the ipod then start the movie, it goes away. The sound can sometime be patchy but usualy it is very clear, and its only 3 bucks and its the only one that works on 64/bit windows that doesnt cost 25 bucks.

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2009-12-20, version 0*

I watch lots of pc based avi files and have TB's of mp3's. Now I listen without complaints lol
Many thanx

### 5/5 — Works as advertised

*2009-11-16*

Does its job - I wanted to clean my apartment and watch TV (through Windows Media Center) while cleaning without waking anyone up. There were a few breaks in audio, but I set the buffer on the lowest setting possible, so that might have something to do with it.

I feel like this is going to be a pretty heavily used application for me. I have absolutely no beef with it only working over Wi-Fi.

### 5/5 — Best app

*2009-09-25*

Sound is great !!!!! Transmits wireless sound good

### 5/5 — The app that I was waiting for!

*2009-08-23*

I don’t know about the other versions, but this one works perfectly (the sound and the remote). At first, the audio server was only showing the mic and linein options but after I enable the stereo mix as a recording device on Vista I got it to work. I am so glad you guys created this precious app.
