Note to the developers : please allow this to download/run on Macs as well as iOS . It would be very very useful to be able to bring projects with this and other audiokitpro AUs from iPad to Mac and back . It works with your amazing Kings of FM please make this app and other ms available on Mac too ! ### 5/5 — Truly, Truly Unbelievable! *2026-05-06* Its very rare that i write a review these days with the zeitgeist seemingly bombarding us with discontent at every turn, but — this synth motivates me. I cannot believe that this is free! In my personal opinion, this provides a warmer, fuller version of the real analog synth sound than any other i’ve heard yet and i’ve been buying ios synthesizers for about 15 years. Beautiful effects contribute to the sound for sure but remove all the effects and it still sounds smooth, lush and warm. I am primarily a guitar player and this synth truly feels like the tone of a singing yet biting tube amp. The kind people pay big money for. Sometimes a developer, due to who knows what factors, comes up with something exceptional beyond words and this synth in my opinion is one of those instances. I don’t know how much better software synth can sound because this really does sound like the intended original. Well done Audiokit! And better than well done for making this piece of technical art free. That, in our age of selfishness is almost as great a thing as the sound itself. Thank you devs. ### 5/5 — Best software synth I ever played *2026-04-30* Thanks so much for making this free. This is the best app you ever made. I was surprised with how much detail this includes. For a while, I stopped using software synths and tried to create my own hardware synth sounds in the korg minilogue. I love that I can plug my guitar into it to get the filter, lfo and delay effects. I wish I had a AudioKitSynth One J6 HARDWARE synth that I can plug my guitar into to use the effects as well. It would probably be so expensive though. Even though this is software, all the textures and many layers of this synth gives strong illusions of that hardware feel. Well done on this masterpiece app. My only request is if you can add a feature while changing the tuning from 440. Please allow 2 decimal values. I used to play 432 tuning because it’s like a rounded off earth frequency, but I now play a tuning that’s tuned exactly to earth and it gives a calming sensation. And if you add this feature, please also allow typing in the value. Other apps that allow tuning with 2 decimal numbers mostly only has a knob to adjust the tuning that doesn’t allow the exact value I need. Son bien sympa pour du numérique, avec tout plein de possibilités de modulations depuis les 3 LFO (même si ça serait bien de les avoir aussi sur la molette de modulation), logiquement organisé, jolie esthétique, possibilité d'enregistrer et d'exporter une session en audio, et également d'exporter ses presets (et même de les envoyer directement à des potes !) ; et je n'ai pas encore tout exploré… Et gratuit, en plus ! It was precisely the type of sounds. I was looking to use in my latest album. I can’t recommend enough. The sense is so cheap and they sound so awesome, especially the VHS tape sound it isn’t just a “tape simulation”. But it’s buggy…but it’s free…but it’s “nagware” *2025-12-10* I had the original audio synth one app on an older iPhone with an older iOS version. It worked perfectly. This new version (on iOS 26.1 on iPhone 17 Pro) has problems with polyphony: if you play keys that are adjacent to each other or even just one step apart, both keys often won’t play simultaneously. I only switched to this new version of the app when I noticed the original app became unresponsive and laggy on my new phone. But thanks for a nice and free app!
