My sound works on other apps but not this one?? ### 1/5 — iPad Music Tools Still Fall Short of Pro Standards *2025-07-02, version 1.9* After using Arturia synths on my Mac for a number of years, I have to say that by comparison AudioKit Synth One and many other iPad synths feel more like casual tools than serious instruments. I have now cancelled my Logic Pro subscription, which I have maintained since the first day Logic Pro for iPad became available. The main reason is the lack of truly high-quality plug-ins developed by third parties and the fact that Logic Pro for iPad is a cutdown version of the Mac app and not truly compatible with it. To be fair, this plug-in is not the only one that does not seem designed for professional use. Over the last few years, I have tried many different options and made a genuine effort to integrate them into my workflow. I even purchased hardware to connect my iPad to Logic Pro on my Mac. In the end, it has all been more trouble than it is worth. The channel etc all set correct will work for a bit then it takes a dive and won’t work. Ironically if I set another keyboard midi channel it works. My one wish (not complaint) is that it gets an update allowing it to be multitimbrial. I know, you can use AUM and run multiple instances but I’d love to just fire it up and run different patches on their own midi channels. However, it’s free and incredible so, again, not a complaint! Just one thing that, to me, would make it perfect!
