## What is AudioM?

Your library, ready whenever you have a moment.

Connect AudioM to your Audiobookshelf server to enjoy audiobooks, podcasts, and ebooks on iPhone and iPad. Download ahead for offline listening, follow along with on-device transcripts, and keep the ideas that stay with you.

LISTEN YOUR WAY
Browse chapters, adjust playback speed, set a sleep timer, and build your queue. Keep listening in the background or with CarPlay. Listening progress syncs with Audiobookshelf.

FOLLOW THE WORDS
Turn downloaded audio into text using on-device speech recognition. Follow playback, search passages, navigate chapters, and export saved transcripts. Availability and results depend on your device, system, language, and audio.

TAKE YOUR LIBRARY WITH YOU
Download audiobooks and podcasts, and manage offline audio and transcripts in one place. Read EPUB, PDF, CBZ, and other supported attachments, save your reading position, and adjust your reading experience. Browse books, authors, series, and collections.

KEEP WHAT MATTERS
Save excerpts and personal thoughts. Optional AI insights help organize book content: confirm the source material before generating, then check the original passages. AI generation requires AudioM Pro and your own compatible service. Provider fees may apply; results are for reference.

START FREE
Connect one server and download up to 5 audiobooks and 10 podcast episodes. Completed and active downloads count toward these limits. AudioM Pro is a one-time lifetime in-app purchase, not a subscription, and unlocks additional features.

You need your own authorized Audiobookshelf server and account. AudioM does not supply books, public accounts, or server hosting, and is not affiliated with the Audiobookshelf project. Features and purchases may vary by device, system, and App Store region.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.5 — 2026-11-06

• Find saved books faster, even when offline.
• Enjoy smoother reading and search across long transcripts.
• Download the next hour of listening in advance.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the app to close during background refresh.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-11-05

This update makes listening, reading and library management easier:

• A refreshed player brings speed, skip and sleep controls together, with quick access to transcripts, bookmarks, audio output and the queue.
• Live and saved transcripts share font-size and line-spacing settings. Text selection, edge scrolling, reading recovery and playback from text are improved.
• Cleaner book details combine listening and transcription progress with excerpt previews. Search results can start playback directly.
• Better Continue Listening behavior, multi-device progress handling and recovery from older cached positions, with clear conflict choices.
• Improved offline-file checks, download deletion with undo, active-playback protection and a one-hour offline preset.
• Task notifications open the relevant result, and completed downloads are grouped into fewer notifications. Pause, resume, retry and history management are clearer.
• Reorganized settings, server draft connection tests, custom AI model tests and flexible iCloud configuration backup options.
• Stronger diagnostic sanitization and fixes for duplicate tasks, notification navigation, translations and state displays.

Your own Audiobookshelf server and account are required.
