AudioTools from Studio Six Digital is a suite of professional-grade audio and acoustic analysis apps. Included in the price of this app is a great collection of professional tools -- SPL, RTA, FFT, Speaker Polarity Test, Generator, Audio Scope, CLF Viewer, and Recorder, and the framework to add more powerful modules as you need them.

Customize AudioTools for your needs by buying any of the additional optional modules, like Smaart Tools I, SPL Graph, or Impulse Response, at any time right from your iOS device.

We test every iOS device and calibrate the microphone level and frequency response for the best results. We have the ability to turn off the Apple low frequency filters, and on many devices we can measure up to 120 dB SPL.

* SPL Meter
A faithful reproduction of a classic analog SPL meter. Includes A and C weighting, and Fast and Slow ANSI decay modes. All filters meet or exceed ANSI type 1.

* RTA
A 1/3 and octave band Real Time Analyzer. Includes touch-GUI range control, a cursor, max/min bars, and noise curve overlays. 

* FFT
Detailed acoustic analysis, up to 32876 points. View full detail or smooth to 1/24, 1/6, 1/3 or octave. Includes cursor, scalable graphics, and peak tracking.

* Polarity
Speaker polarity checker. Route the test signal to a speaker, and read the polarity of the speaker on the screen.

* CLF Viewer
Show loudspeaker data, including plots for impedance, axial response, sensitivity, polar response, and 6dB coverage, and a 3D color balloon plot. 

* Delay Finder
Measures the time it takes for a pulse to return from a speaker. 

* Generator
Generates sine waves, square waves, white and pink noise.

AudioTools has a series of products for the professional in the audio or acoustic industry.   We have purchased all of the modules and use them all they are excellent. Factory support is excellent as well whenever there’s a problem with any update, they straightened it out quickly.   

We’re using ours with the type one microphones and iPads and get excellent and the algorithms they’ve developed time wasted with other types of analyzers.

Great software suite! I use this and their calibrated measurement microphone for everything from room measurements, to single channel smaart, to testing, you name it! My firm is an acoustical consulting firm in Colorado. Don’t leave home without your iphone or ipad and audio tools! Great software!

Outils probablement de bonne qualité. Mais 22 € alors que vous devez encore payer pour les outils les plus recherchés, ça va de quelques euro à plus de 35€ par outils. Ou un abonnement de 10€ par mois… pour un particulier qui cherche à régler le dsp d’une enceinte maison ça ne vaut pas vraiment le coup. Déjà 22€ l’app j’avais hésité… alors une fois dans l’app j’ai vraiment eu l’impression de me faire piéger. Maintenant, sûrement qu’un pro qui va l’utiliser tous les jours y trouvera son compte. J’aurais du vérifier les achats in-app. My bad

- Fixed a crash when clearing recalled graphs. Recalling a couple of graphs and then choosing "Clear Recalled Graphs" from the Save/Recall menu could crash in SoundScope, Transfer Function, and FFT — this is resolved.
- Remote SPL Monitoring — easier setup. The setup screen now works properly on iPhone: it rotates to portrait so you can type comfortably, and the input fields stay clear of the keyboard. Tap View on Browser to get your account code and a QR code for opening the live viewer in any web browser.
- Resolved an issue that could prevent Remote SPL subscribers from retrieving their account code
- Remote SPL browser viewer improvements. The viewer now reliably shows your streaming devices, marks which are live, lets you scroll back through history, and switches cleanly between accounts.
- LEQ mode added to Remote SPL Logging
- Fixed the generator producing no sound in SPL Pro after using another tool first. Signal type, level and output are now set correctly each time a tool is opened.
- Left / Right / Mono / Balanced output selection now works correctly in Scope, THD+N, Level and Generator. Mono and Balanced previously played on the left channel only.
- Fixed the Level tool's generator starting at full volume instead of following the fader.
- Fixed the generator switch showing "on" with no sound after leaving Scope.
- Balanced output no longer reverts to Mono after switching away from the app with iAudioInterface2 connected.
- Corrected Balanced output in SPL Pro at 24-bit — both channels are now driven with the correct polarity.
- On audio interfaces with more than two outputs, outputs 3 and above are now silent instead of carrying stray audio.
- SoundScope and Transfer Function now recover if the camera is interrupted by another app, and the camera no longer disturbs audio settings.
- Improved audio engine reliability and memory handling during measurement.
- Fixed the Apple TV Surround Generator not being found when connecting
- Fixed LARSA playing pink noise, or no signal, through the Apple TV generator
- LARSA no longer plays its sweep through the iPad when an external generator is driving
