Nice Ebook reader for ABS. But the app still has its bugs, recently read books don’t show up for ebooks. The TOC tab in the ebook just closes the book. It downs show a continue reading ebook section. I don’t see an option to download ebooks. I have some very large ebooks. You also can’t select author or narrator of the book to see their other books. I have messaged the app builder without getting a response. I am a paid pro user. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Ebook support is currently in its version 1.0 form. You can follow the progress here. https://audrabooks.app/releases ### 3/5 — ebooks *2026-02-26* I bought the lifetime pass for ebook support but it’s way too finicky. The continuous scroll works until the end of a chapter then you still have to swipe right to go to the next chapter. Clicking a chapter on ToC keeps closing the ebook so I have to turn the page until I catch up where I left off on the audiobook. Otherwise the UI looks nice and clean and the audiobooks work flawlessly so far. ### 3/5 — It’s good but needs work *2026-01-26* The app drops your login arbitrarily and whatever downloads you had disappear. **Developer response:** This was fixed a few releases ago. Let me know if you’re still having issues. ### 3/5 — Podcast support *2026-01-11* Hello, I bought the lifetime pass, but I am disappointed to see that this app has poor podcast support in ABS. When I click on one of my podcasts, it provides no ability to browse and select and episode. **Developer response:** Podcast support is now available! ### 4/5 — VPN Tunnel Connection Issues *2026-06-03* After I updated to 1.2.8 I couldn’t access my library through my VPN even though the VPN didn’t was connected. I tried to email my problem (so I didn’t have to create a whole new account on git), but it was kicked back as undeliverable. Unfortunately, leaving this review here with hopes of it being fixed quickly. **Developer response:** I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. Let’s look into it. Please send the details of your issue, along with the logs from the about screen to hello@audrabooks.app. ### 4/5 — Only good ebook support app *2026-04-03* I bought this app for ebook support. It has a lot of nice support for ebooks just a few nitpicky things for a better ux experience. - Continuous scroll works till the end of the chapter then you swipe. I keep swiping to two chapters ahead - Home Screen won’t update with current reads or continue the series. Takes a while to get back to my book I’ve been reading. - Show my downloaded books. I know my in progress books are there but I can’t see them. Would like to know when something is downloaded and be able to access them. Otherwise excellent app!! ### 4/5 — So much promise *2026-03-26* It’s the best there is. But it’s got some bugs. The most painful is hard to describe. When trying to use the app while in airplane mode, sometimes the chapter view disappears. Progress gets forgotten, and downloaded content becomes hard to find. At first it works, but (like on long flights) when you say close the app and try to reopen it, things go sideways. Hopefully these offline inconsistencies get fixed. My expectation would be that the app just works like normal in offline mode, maybe with non-downloaded but cached artwork dimmed. Basic functionality and progress and ui consistency while in offline mode would be the place to start though. If i could donate more I would. Please don’t let the dev fire die ### 4/5 — Good start *2026-01-18* App is a good start on a Audiobookshelf Client. The home isn’t loading properly for me. It supports custom headers so you can do token based auth if you want, and it does both books and audiobooks. There’s no other iOS app that does all of this.
