## What is Augur?

Augur is the dice-statistics companion for Warhammer: The Old World. It turns every to-hit, to-wound, save, charge, and casting roll into the exact probability distribution — the maths you'd otherwise scribble on the back of a roster sheet, made instant and tappable.

DICE STATISTICS

• The dice lab — chain a full hit → wound → save → ward sequence in one pass and read the exact distribution of wounds, not just an average, alongside a sample roll log.

• Rerolls, your way — set reroll rules for failures and successes independently on each step: any miss, successful 6s, or a failed hit into a harder target. Every die is only ever rerolled once.

• Stack your attacks — combine several attack chains in one sequence and the forecast totals their wounds, so a unit, its champion, and a mount resolve together. Add stomp or impact auto-hits at their own Strength.

ODDS FOR EVERY PHASE

• Charge — charge-range distributions for any unit. Reroll one or both dice, add Swiftstride, model difficult terrain, and read the cumulative odds for every distance.

• Spells — casting and dispel rolls with bonuses, channelled dice, irresistible force, and miscast probability. Plan your magic phase before you commit a die.

• Templates — expected hits from blast and teardrop templates against ranked units of any frontage, file count, and base size. Tap to scatter a round template and forecast where the hits land, with a no-line-of-sight toggle and a misfire shake.

• Cannon — Monte-Carlo cannon fire against a ranked target. Drag the cannon and aim point, see expected hits, misfire and bounce rates, then Fire for one rolled shot.

• Leadership — break, panic, and psychology tests with modifiers, rerolls, and inspiring presence. Choose 2D6, 3D6 Maximise or 3D6 Minimise. See the chance to hold before you make the player roll.

• Combat result — tally each side's combat-result modifiers, see who wins by how much, and read the loser's break-test pass rate by Leadership as a curve.

RUN THE GAME

• Score — keep the running total for both sides during a matched-play game. Pick a primary scoring table, layer in secondary objectives, and track per-turn scoring with a live timer.

• Rules — verbatim quick-reference tables you actually roll on (panic, miscast, stomp, terrain, scattering, and more), grouped by category and searchable with typo tolerance. The community FAQ is indexed alongside the rulebook, so you can look up an answer mid-game.

FOLLOW THE TOURNAMENTS

• Home — recent results from the big events, Warhammer Community news, and creator Shorts in one feed, with live top-three standings for the tournaments you follow.

• Tournaments — browse Old World events from Best Coast Pairings, NewRecruit, and The Old World Federation in one searchable list. Open one for standings, round pairings, team scores, and the army lists players actually brought.

• Alerts — favourite a tournament and opt in to a notification when each round's results are posted and when it finishes, including who is leading and with which army.

BUILD YOUR LIST

• Armies — build army lists for every faction. Pick a subfaction, add units from the full catalog, and kit them out with gear, command, and magic items — the verbatim item and special rules are one tap away. Points and category limits update as you build, and you can export the finished list as text.

Reorder or hide tabs to match how you play.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.11.0 — 2026-08-11

1.11.0 — Smoother lists and a quicker way back to the top.

• Tournament lists now have a "back to top" button once you have scrolled a way down, instead of making you swipe back up through a long feed.
• Lists animate as they change: rows fade in as they arrive, and the list settles into place rather than snapping, when you change a filter or load more results.
• Fixed the scroll position jumping when you change round on a tournament.
• Fixed stale results lingering for a moment when you switch faction or time window — the loading placeholder now appears as it should.
• By-faction results now cover the whole window you have selected, rather than stopping at a fixed number of tournaments.
• Tidied up the round and filter pickers.

### 1.10.0 — 2026-08-09

1.10.0 — New Home dashboard and live tournament alerts.

• Follow a favourited tournament and get notified when each round's results are posted and when it finishes, including who is leading and with which army. Turn it on under Notifications on the Home tab.
• Tournament screens now keep themselves up to date while an event is running, rather than showing what they loaded when you opened the app.
• WTC scoring: objective markers are now a single choice — Strategic Locations or Treasure Troves — with trove counters on the live scoring screen, including troves destroyed.
• Fixed a crash when opening the app from a tournament notification.
• New Home tab brings recent large-event results, Warhammer Community news and creator Shorts together in one place.
• Live top-three standings for your favourited tournaments while they are still in progress.
• Rosters now show for upcoming NewRecruit events, and favourites are grouped by status.
• Army list import handles more Old World Builder formats, including points-last lists and subfaction-only units.
• Chaotic traits are now priced per model by unit size.
• Refreshed army catalogues and Community FAQ.

### 1.9.2 — 2026-08-03

1.9.2 — Performance & polish.

• Fixed a scrolling slowdown that could appear after reopening the app.
• Smoother list loading, with less flicker when screens first appear.
• General performance and stability improvements.

### 1.9.0 — 2026-07-29

1.9.0 — Favourite tournaments, team events, and tap-through to any player's list.

• Favourites: star a tournament from its page to save it, then filter the browser to just your favourites.
• Team tournaments: team standings with an Individual/Team toggle, round-by-round team fixtures, and drill into each team's players.
• Tap any player — in a round's match-ups, a standings row, or a match list — to jump straight to their army list. Works across NewRecruit, Best Coast Pairings, and the Old World Federation.
• A player's own results are now colour-coded: win green, loss red, draw grey.
• View one tournament round at a time with a quick round picker.
• Smarter army-list import: better matching of units, options, and magic items, with the faction and army composition auto-detected from the list.
• Tournament filters tuned: Upcoming shows the next 60 days, soonest first; Ongoing covers the last 60 days.
• Smoother scrolling in long tournament and player lists.

### 1.8.0 — 2026-07-28

1.8.0 — Round-by-round results for every tournament source.

• Per-round match-ups and results now cover NewRecruit and Best
Coast Pairings too — not just the Old World Federation. See each
round's pairings, scores, and who came out on top.
• Open a player's list and their round-by-round matches show right
there, whenever the tournament has published them.
• Best Coast Pairings events now show a country flag, like
  NewRecruit ones do.
• Clearer tournament filters — Upcoming, Ongoing, and Finished.
• Refreshed the community FAQ rules data.
• Fixed a loading loop when browsing ongoing Best Coast Pairings
events, and smoothed out scrolling in long tournament lists.
