It is hidden behind the horrible toolbar on the bottom. The new design uses a thick toolbar that covers the battery indicator. I'm assuming they don't have quality control or review their work. Otherwise, they would have noticed it. It looks poorly designed & outdated. Why not designing for long-term charging? The privacy policy for the app (below) is awful and not customer friendly. You know data brokers and billionaires are the REAL customers (not you!) when an app collects so much data and has app tracking. Even Schlage and Kwikset don’t track through their apps. The best part is no keys ever again to lock or unlock your door from anywhere. ### 5/5 — Just Works, Installs Easy *2026-08-26, version 26.15.0* I just installed August home using my existing deadbolt. Installed fairly easily and the app is easy to use now to lock and unlock the door. Easily installed and use. If you have any issues with the locks a quick call to technician and they walk you through troubleshooting your lock.
