Dear dev, I understand your technical concerns but clock stability at the source is responsibility of the user, not yours. Let us users choose the sync method that best suits us. Mute and Solo features in each channel only seem to be toggles. Zero option to solo a channel like you would on any guitar multi-fx pedal where one button press gets you to that channel and ignores the others. I am trying to use this in a guitar context with four channels on screen with different FX and whatnot. You don’t want multiple channels playing at the same time. But in AUm either via touch or via footswitch, you can’t do this without multiple taps. Please tell me if ai am missing something and I will update my review. Koala's developer video helped me figure this out. Now works seamlessly. Most of the other apps (AUv3, AU, sometimes just other apps) load into this to make sound. Easy to understand , fairly priced, and consistent(ly good too). You never regret stopping the online scrolling to do something fun and creative with your device. Stop wishing you were a musician and start making music! Easier than learning an instrument but you’ll want to do that too once you start. Make art, not AI. This is essential to make backing up or sharing projects with others easy and safe.. I am terrified I will lose months of work. ¿ am I supposed to just back up ALL the folders and files on my iPad just to be safe ? For iPad and iOS in general it’s hard finding an alternative to generic freebies, the best of which is GarageBand and that has its limitations. By getting to grips with this though opens up a whole new way of combining virtual instruments, audio loops and real-time audio input. It’s extremely versatile and powerful and brings out the best of everything. Unfortunately it does not recognize the synth. Upon purchasing an opening the app, I realized that most of the buttons inside the app are labeled just that… Button nothing is accessible in there, and I can’t even begin to find my way around the app as a visually impaired blind user. There are far better options. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — This was an instant essential app for me *2026-08-15, version 1.4.8* Lots of things can be accomplished with AUM, so I’ll focus on what’s helped my workflow most- controlling hardware synths with iOS sequencer plugins like Fugue Machine Rubato, MidiStep, etc. There are other ways to do this but none are as quick, intuitive, and seamless as this delightful little app. ### 5/5 — External clock sync *2026-07-24, version 1.4.8* Just please add this.
