### 2/5 — Update please

*2024-07-27*

GPS does not work, neither does typing address manually. Therefore, unable to set the purifier up and get it to actually work.

### 1/5 — App has a major bug that needs to be fixed

*2023-10-01, version 2.2.7*

You need an app update asap. None of my devices will connect to the network…. I’ve had these for a few years and app always crashes when re-pairing the device. Please update the app asap.

### 1/5 — App crashing

*2022-11-10, version 2.2.6*

Since reinstalling this app a few days ago, it keeps crashing upon opening rendering the app useless

### 3/5 — Noisy so so air purifier

*2022-05-05*

I backed Aura Air on Kickstarter, but it hasn't lived up to my expectations. Most of the time it doesn't look like it actually purifies the air. If the windows are closed, it doesn't seem to make much difference to the air quality readings. If the windows are open, less so, unless the air quality is terrible outside. If I run my extractor fan improves the air quality readings. It's also really noisy.

### 3/5 — Good filter - bad Wi-Fi connection

*2022-02-21, version 2.2.2*

The filter works well despite being too loud. The Wi-Fi connection drops constantly. Trying to getting it reconnected takes forever. I have it plugged in to hide the power cord so I have to move furniture constantly to unplug to reboot. Should have power switch on the unit. It fails to re-pair a ridiculous amount of times. I insular don’t have the Wi-Fi connected because it’s such a hassle to re-pair the device. Tammy need to fix this.

### 1/5 — Geräte lassen sich mit der App nicht verbinden

*2021-12-04*

Aura Air Geräte lasen sich mit der App nicht verbinden obwohl es keine Netzwerkeinschränkungen gibt.

### 4/5 — Good product

*2021-08-13, version 2.0.2.1*

Had this unit for a few months and it’s a good product.

### 1/5 — It asked me to rate it to much

*2021-08-13, version 2.0.2.1*

To much asking to rate

### 3/5 — Not getting consistent outdoor AQI numbers

*2021-08-07, version 2.0.2.1*

The outside numbers are not consistent with the government reports

### 1/5 — Cool filter, app needs work

*2021-08-02, version 2.0.2.1*

The app is still very rough, and the filter readings seem to bounce around randomly. But I’d much rather have a filter trying to track air quality stats than some filter company that isn’t trying.

### 3/5 — The measurement of VOCs indoors seems ok

*2021-08-02, version 2.0.2.1*

However the integration with an exterior weather center has never worked and is continuously wrong. I definitely expected this part to work.

While the measurements for the indoors may be adequate when you swipe through to find more information it’s just the same boilerplate outside of one page breaking down the interior scores.

### 1/5 — at each app-launch pop-up to leave a recommendation

*2021-07-31*

Very annoying… when starting the app a pop-up shows up every time (despite clicking several times on „no thanks“) and needs to be clicked away.
Paying more than hundred dollars on this air purifier I would imagine that I could just use it conveniently- especially since the annoying pop-up was just introduced with an update.

### 2/5 — Frustrating !

*2021-07-26, version 2.0.2.1*

Constantly have to re-pair the unit to my phone.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Sign Up

*2025-08-05, version 2.2.7*

The app isn’t letting me sign up

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-07-04, version 2.2.7*

This app doesn’t work. It won’t connect and always tells me there’s an error.

### 1/5 — Can’t register or log in

*2025-04-03, version 2.2.7*

I have tried on a iphone and an iPad. Must be a bug in the system. I fill out the form (name, email, password twice, check the info box) and nothing happens. I,d also like to know what the app does.

### 1/5 — Is this app is dead

*2025-02-05, version 2.2.7*

Not been updated in two years and never manage to boot up…

### 1/5 — No App Connection

*2024-11-12*

You have to enter the address of the location if you want to connect the device to the app. However, this does not work - neither via the text field input nor via GPS. This means that the device cannot be used

### 1/5 — App broken

*2024-08-29, version 2.2.7*

Does not let you login. Very upsetting since the filter can only be control through the app… it’s stuck on the noisy high setting now

### 1/5 — Die App lässt sich gar nicht starten

*2024-08-22*

Die App lässt sich gar nicht starten und findet auch nicht die Bluetooth Verbindung. Somit ist sie nutzlos. Ich hoffe, die Entwickler lassen sich da etwas einfallen. Auf jeden Fall ist sie so nutzlos.

### 1/5 — App broken—can’t login or create accounts anymore.

*2024-07-23, version 2.2.7*

I loved this when it came out, but in the past 6 months or so, the app is terrible. It won’t allow me to log in anymore, reset my password or create a new account. I’ve tried it on apple AND Android phones. There’s also no way to contact them. Their website doesn’t have customer service.

### 1/5 — Unit useless after bankruptcy

*2023-10-14, version 2.2.7*

So this company went bust. It happens in business. However since all control of this filter is based on internet communication it can no longer be controlled with the app, and there are no physical buttons to control the unit. The app no longer opens. Now the filter is stuck running at a high speed and is too noisy for daily use. Would have been nice if they set the app for local use before they shut down.

### 1/5 — App does not work, ghosted by Support

*2023-10-14, version 2.2.7*

I set up a brand new filter a month ago and tried finish the setup via the app. It errors out while trying to add a new location and its not possible to proceed. The filter is completely uncontrollable with the app. I reached out to Support who said there server was down. That was over a month ago. I have since follower up to get a status and there has been no response.

### 5/5 — VP

*2021-07-24, version 2.0.2.1*

Amazing product

### 5/5 — Good

*2021-07-24, version 2.0.2.1*

Good

### 5/5 — Full control & monitoring of the Air Filter

*2021-07-23, version 2.0.2.1*

Easy to use and informative. At last an App that gives you full feedback on the Air Quality both inside & outside and feedback on the associated effectiveness of the Filter in dealing with it - as you watch the readings drop as the Filter kicks into action. The Filter system is indeed Smart - switching into full power mode when it detects high VoC levels (combustible gases) or excessive aerosol droplets/fine particulates (Pm2.5/Pm10). The standby mode (“vacation”) and manual override for full power mode (“party”) work well. Not yet tested Heidy - this is where it asks you for any allergies, notifies you and changes the power of the filter if there is a high pollen count or heavy pollution outside and it starts leaking into the room due to windows or door being open. I didn’t realise that the 400ppm level of CO is due to the burning of carbon fuels - it was only 300ppm in the 1960’s ... ;-(
