Jesus, I thank You for having the Developers create this amazing app. Since I was adopted in the year of 1997 at the age of 6 year old, I was abused by my mom who is narcissistic, toxic, unforgiving, horrible and hateful towards everyone (financial abuse; physical abuse; spiritual abuse; mental abuse; emotional abuse and verbal abuse); also abused by my horrible adopted and abusive dad (spiritual abuse; physical abuse; mental abuse; emotional abuse and verbal abuse) and also sexually abused and physically abused by a foster teenager boy when I was in my early teens; my horrible adopted and abusive parents continued to abuse me until the year of 2018. Jesus freed me from them and I now live in a very beautiful residential housing facility by myself with deeply caring, loving and appreciative Staff and House Manager that all look out for my well being and safety. Developers, you have done such a wonderful thing by creating this app. I give all the Glory and praise to the One Who Is and Is to Come-Jesus, my Heavenly Father. They are beautiful and almost look like paintings. Even though they are AI, it still brings a real life image of the scriptures. The skin complexion could be a little bit more accurate, but still, I love the visual work. My biggest issue with the app is that you have to pay to actually use the app. I have to pay to write out my prayers. If I miss a devotional, I have to pay. I do like how you get to ask three questions a day for free or use the exegesis for free. That doesn’t bother me, it’s the two most important items of your walk with God: daily devotional and prayer. It doesn’t make sure for me to pay for the premium when those things should also be free with limitations. Maybe suggest creating one prayer a day or something like. If this app is designed to help others on their walk then it should be designed to do so. I shouldn’t have to pay for the premium just to read my created prayer out loud. What’s even worse is that it’s impossible to succeed in creating an account after entering one's email address and receiving the confirmation six digit code and entering it. Literally the chat triggers my PTSD every time I try to use it to help me. Waste of money. There’s bibles everywhere, many free Bible apps. There’s many many many Bible plans and devotionals on youversion. There’s also a free app that lets you practice the memorizing of verses the same way on this app, it’s called Bible memory. YouTube and Spotify has many meditations with scripture. This app is designed around the creators beliefs. It requires you to provide too much demographic/personally identifiable information, and it’s clear that this is for data collection purposes so that they can sell your information to advertisers. My age, gender, etc. is none of their business, and shouldn’t be required for a scripture reading and “devotional” app; all scripture is profitable for personal study & devotional purposes, regardless of your demographics, so the only real reason that they want this kind of information is to sell it; I can’t recommend this app for anyone ### 1/5 — No free plan *2026-01-06, version 2.6.4* I wanted to get the app but not pay for a subscription. However, the only part of this app that is free is the 3 day trial. Crazy how in the reviews several other people mentioned the cost of subscribing and the response from the app developers was “You can just use it for free”. So, where are the adverts for the free part located? Because I searched and only found 3 pay for options. Bad business ### 1/5 — Couldn’t actually use the app *2025-12-15, version 2.6.2* I would give it zero stars if I could. I tried for days but it wouldn’t let me past all of the questions at the beginning.
