## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-02-06*

Requires continuous connection rather than just setting a state on the mask. Won’t just do sunrise alarm without other “content”. Light is so dim it’s barely perceptible through my closed eyelids. Power button is easily pressed on even a firm pillow, canceling the alarm.

### 1/5 — Significant app issues

*2024-04-09*

Hardware works well, but as soon as iPhone goes to sleep, music and any wake up alarms stop functioning. Basically non-usable for its designated purpose until this is fixed

### 1/5 — Expensive hardware. Zero app support

*2024-02-24*

My app has been hung up on the Aura opening screen for about a week. I’ve asked for a chat but there doesn’t appear that there is any support staff available to help.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time and money

*2024-01-14*

Not intuitive and not tour guide so I can’t even properly use my $300 sleep mask. No helpful response from support and my numerous request for refunds have been ignored. Just buy a Bluetooth sleeping mask on Amazon instead for $30

### 2/5 — Almost works

*2024-01-24*

While there is a decent collection of audio tracks and meditations I genuinely enjoy, there are a few problems with the app or device that make this hard to recommend.

First of all, it’s difficult to trust an alarm that goes off long after the time I set it - seemingly waiting for me to open my phone before activating.

Second, the light is way too bright even on the lowest setting to use in the meditations before bed. It would be neat for the breath work, but not enough to adjust my eyes to the sun while trying to fall asleep.

Sometimes the Bluetooth will disconnect the mask from the device and the voice of the Almighty will reach into my dreams to pull me out with a message from the heavens breaking the peaceful silence of slumber to say “BLUETOOTH DEVICE DISCONNECTED”.

My last point is more of a personal desire but it would be nice if the speakers covered my ears and actually block outside sounds a bit so I don’t need my ear plugs when traveling and I could actually use this thing in a plane. Otherwise it’s just not worth traveling with.

That’s my two cents. I hope some of these issues will get addressed, I might even update my review if enough changes, but until then my two cents say two stars.

### 5/5 — Great App

Great App to use
