Getting a “frame offline” message, yet nothing is wrong with my so-do. I really love this frame, but it’s become very frustrating ### 2/5 — Dark Patterns & Misleading Claims *2026-08-19, version 4.11.78* The company advertises “Unlimited Photo Storage”, but deliberately left out any kind of photo management features in the application, to disincentivize actually using that storage. And many recent uploaded photos and reels never show up. It’s been entertaining, BUT it reboots too many times during the day. Very annoying. Why check for updates everyday, multiple times each day. You folks control the feed, so why not SEND an update when available? And, IT IS NOT A WIFI OR NETWORK ISSUE! I like that the app is fairly easy to learn and navigate, even without reading any instructions. There is one minor improvement that I’d like to see. When I select the current frame (the device itself), can Aura please tell us the model (version) of the physical frame? This may come in handy if a household has MULTIPLE frames running. Which frame is which? Am about to uload to the small 10” frame? Or is it the big 15” frame? I love the pictures automatically scrolling daily and I have to get up many times to figure out what I’m looking at because it’s been so many years since I saw this particular photo. For such a good device, this is a show stopper. We purchased the Aura frame to have with us on the trip. We sent out the app info prior to the memorial so that everyone could load their favorite pictures allowing everyone to enjoy memories and stories. The Aura was the catalyst for so many stories and memories to be shared and enjoyed. ### 4/5 — Adore the frame! *2026-07-30, version 4.11.70* I absolutely love the frame that I have gifted to my parents. They get such a kick out of looking through the thousands of pictures we have shared with them. My biggest complaint is the iPhone widget. You’ll see a picture that you want to see and your instinct is to tap to open it up full screen, but it doesn’t open that picture, it just opens into the app. And since, as I said thousands of pictures, you have to browse forever and ever to find the one that you wanted to see. ### 4/5 — Doesn’t play all photos *2026-07-23, version 4.11.68* I love the frame and the ability to share with family. We’re having trouble seeing all the photos. Seems like we see the same ones over & over. Tried both sort selections, chronological & shuffle and really don’t see a difference in seeing the same ones. Over the last couple of weeks the pictures come up but lock up and I have to pull the plug to reset the Aura. I contacted Aura by email and they said they would reset my Aura hopefully solving the problem, and it didn’t. I would like to talk to a representative hopefully solve this problem. According to Shuffle settings it should show new photos but it still shows same old photos every day. Many users are complaining about this. Not sure when Aura support fix the issue. Other things I need to add. There is no option to always stay on. Every 5 months I need to spend 4 to 5 hours trying to get this thing to recognize my family photos—never seems to work. All I have is a black screen most of the time—angers me every time I walk by. This thing feel like it’s operating on tech from the 2000s—it’s incredibly frustrating. I have to keep a poppy pin beside it I need to reset the internal screen so many times. Would compel any one considering it to just go with the google frames—I have 3 and they have NEVER given me trouble. We have had digital frames before, but never like this one. The look is nice and simple to make the photos stand out. I bought a frame for my son’s home and my mother has a frame. We can add photos and I can see my granddaughters grow in each of the photos. So, being far away is easier to tolerate when I can see their lives unfold. And it does NOT allow me to see the pictures that are on that frame when I upload without purchasing a subscription. I had purchased an AURA frame for my other son and I can see all the photos and edit the ones I uploaded - NO subscription needed! . This is a BIG Plus and why I would recommend purchasing AURA frames. ### 5/5 — Nice app, two suggestions *2026-08-02, version 4.11.72* Two suggestions to enhance usability. First, enable “pinch to zoom” everywhere photos are displayed. Currently, you have to drill down on the picture, multiple times. Second, add a function to copy a picture or pictures from one frame to another. We have multiple frames in our family and this would make it so much easier to maintain.
