Aura app promised 10x more points if we downloaded the app at that time and purchased for any amount. Our purchase was close to 1000 dhs and we did not receive any extra aura points. This was on my husband’s app. A few days later, I went to another partner brand of aura, and again the app promised 10x more points if we are new members. The app however did not reflect this offer at my end. Since my purchase was for dhs 400 and I did not want to lose the points like my husband did, I called their customer support to check why our apps did not reflect this new member offer. They confirmed that it was an IT issue and it would be soon rectified. So to wait a day and purchase the item a day later. I left and returned a day later … checked the app and yet no update. Called customer support, and they gave me the same story… I have them few more days with calls going back and forth…finally I lost my patience and bought the item with zero extra points. They did not honour my husband’s new member offer either. I’m guessing this happens to many but they don’t have the time or patience to follow it up with the customer service team as it’s pretty frustrating. I would suggest the company reviews the IT department and makes sure no glitches go unresolved and if there are issues then they go back and rectify it rather than ignoring customer complaints and wasting our time over it. I have think anything great about the offers they have either. I returned the incorrect products the same day, yet as of now (over three weeks later), I have not received a refund. Their customer service is unhelpful and difficult to reach. Every time I try to follow up, I get vague responses or no progress at all. It feels like they shipped what they wanted to sell, not what I actually ordered. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. When I finally fixed it with the help of the customer service who called me as soon as I emailed the (the star goes for them) I wanted to redeem my credit and when I went to redeem them I couldn’t because the salesman in boots told me that he updated my number on the system and I had to wait 24 hours. This hustle have been going on for over a year maybe. Ever since this Aura app started. Anyways, since that I don’t do shopping every day, there was few days on my credit to expire so I lost all the credit. I know that it’s not a big deal, but if you want to keep your customers loyalty you better know how to do that.
