## What is Aura Women's Health?

Living with pelvic pain, endometriosis, PCOS or hormonal changes means being asked to explain something that is hard to explain. Aura helps you understand your own body and describe it to the people who can help.

Aura is a companion, not a tracker that forgets you. Tell her what hurts, when it started and what helped. She remembers. Over time she notices what you might miss. Maybe your hardest days cluster late in your cycle. Maybe short nights come before low-energy weeks. Maybe the thing you tried last month actually worked.

Talk to her like a friend. Describe how you feel in your own words. Aura asks before she concludes, uses what she already knows about you and never makes you repeat yourself. She won’t just send you to a doctor, but she will tell you clearly when something deserves attention.

Logging takes seconds. Note where your pain sits and how it feels. Log flares, sleep, energy, mood, medicines and appointments. Or just check in with a tap.

As Aura learns your rhythm, she shows you what is actually happening, such as which days are hardest and how often your flares come.

With Aura Care, turn months of scattered symptoms into a clear summary you can hand to your doctor. It shows what you have felt, how often, and what you have tried.

Understand your cycle. See where you are, what is likely next and how your symptoms line up with it. Aura also tells you when hormonal contraception means the usual pattern does not apply to you.

The Library holds articles written for women living with these conditions. Aura shows you the ones that fit what you are going through.

Your symptom logs, your conversations and your journal are kept in an encrypted database on your phone. We keep no copy of them on our servers, and none of it is ever sold. Aura never reads your journal.

Your cycle history lives on your phone too. Our servers hold the email you sign in with and the details you have given about yourself. That is your name, conditions, symptoms, life chapters and how long each has lasted, cycle and period lengths, last period date, contraception and brand, date of birth, work pattern, language and permissions.

Aura asks first. If you say yes, your message, your recent conversation and short summaries made on your phone go through our server (Supabase) to Anthropic. Anthropic runs the model that writes her reply. We keep no copy. Anthropic deletes what it receives within 30 days, unless its safety systems flag it, and does not use it to train its models. A clinician’s letter you photograph for Aura to explain (Aura Care) is sent the same way. Say no, and the rest of Aura still works.

If you delete the app, everything you logged goes with it. If you delete your account in the app, we remove your profile and your account from our servers.

Crisis support is built in, works offline and is never behind a paywall. If what you write sounds like a crisis, she’ll show you who to call. That means a local crisis line where we have one, and emergency services elsewhere. Subscriber or not, signal or not.

The free version always includes daily check-ins, the cycle view, symptom and flare logging, flare support and conversations with Aura every day.

Aura Care opens up the conversation. You get 30 messages a day. Free gives you 15 messages in your first 7 days, then 5 a month. It adds doctor-ready reports you can hand to a clinician, letters scanned and put into plain words, your patterns described in Aura’s own words, and the detail behind every pattern she finds. New subscribers start with two weeks free.

Aura is a wellness companion. It does not diagnose, treat or replace medical care. It helps you notice, record and describe what your body is doing, so the professionals you see have more to work with.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-11-01

• Your week, new on Today. Each day can get a heads-up and one idea, from your own logs first. With Aura Free you see today and tomorrow in full, and the heads-ups for every day. Aura Care adds ideas, food and movement for the rest of the week.
• With Aura Care and migraine among what you live with, Your week can show the air pressure forecast for a place anywhere in the world, one you type in or where you are. Weather data from MET Norway.
• You can now tell Aura if you don’t have periods right now, for example while pregnant, after surgery, when hormones or medicine stop them, or after giving birth. Aura then stops showing cycle phases and period predictions, and Today shows How you’ve been instead.
• If your recent cycles vary a lot, Aura no longer guesses a cycle day, a phase or your next period. Every period you logged is kept.
• A new starting point for women who already have a diagnosis and want to manage it better.
• Aura’s AI can now also be told whether you have periods, and why. If you already use the AI, one line in Ask Aura lets you allow it. Until you do, none of this is sent.
• See what leaves your phone. Settings › What leaves your phone lists every place your data can go, what it receives and how long it is kept.
• Reminders on your lock screen no longer name your medicine or appointment. Turn on Show names in notifications if you want them.
• Saving is more reliable. If a log or check-in can’t be saved, it stays on screen so you can try again. Your journal keeps a draft while you write.
• New message allowances. Aura Free gives you 15 messages in your first 7 days, then 5 a month. Aura Care gives you 30 messages a day, enough for a hard day. If you already use Aura Free or pay for Aura Care, you keep what you have now for at least two weeks, and the app shows you the date before it changes. Messages in a crisis never count.
• A letter you scan that gives no time now shows Time not set, instead of a time the letter never gave.
• A message that waited more than a day without a connection is no longer sent by itself.
• Article suggestions now follow only the conditions you chose.
