Can’t really hear it properly every time though.🙃 ### 3/5 — Average overpriced app for aural *2024-08-22, version 3.14* This app forces you to pay for efficient learning for all grades of aural. Instead, it just said you sang too QUIETLY and give you useless tips. It’s okay but not perfect. ### 4/5 — Hi *2023-12-07, version 3.14* Good Mhhh ### 2/5 — Can’t register lower voices (I think?) and I disagree with it *2022-11-27, version 3.14* I tried getting this for my exam coming up soon and I have a pretty deep voice, so on the singing part I sung it correctly just in an register that was comfortable for me but it registered the notes as all wrong and the rhythm recorded was also completely wrong (I was singing quavers and crotchets but it thought I was singing semiquavers??) Also, I have the feeling it doesn’t understand the word flowing. ### 3/5 — Reasonable *2021-11-28, version 3.12* Useful app. However still condescending - when you get an answer wrong, don’t need oops or be told to practice more. The standard phrases of what to listen for with modulations don’t help, but that’s all you get and if you can’t hear what they are saying, then tough. As someone else pointed out some practice/ teaching sessions would be useful rather than just tests. This could an amazing app. ### 4/5 — Vocal range *2021-02-19, version 3.06* It would be extremely useful to change the octave for the ‘echos’ section. Not everyone can sing that high. ### 4/5 — Needs 1 improvement but wonderful app! *2020-11-10, version 3.06* This is a great app and I’ve used it for quite a while now, but when it comes to the singing and clapping the rhythm, after the song was played, the woman starts talking “your turn” and it really ruins my focus and concentration since I already have the melody in my head. Other than that, great app! ### 3/5 — Still room for improvement *2020-09-28, version 3.05* Appreciate the improved navigation and the possibility to skip the explanation prior to the actual questions. Please get read of the ‘Ooops’ for incorrect answers, this is not needed and does not add any value. I would further reduce the time the voice takes. When you get to grade 8 you already know what to expect for the questions, there is not need to repeat the same thing for each single question. This is time consuming and discouraging. WAY over priced. *2023-10-16, version 3.14* Initially I thought this could be a great teacher tool to use with my students but to get anything more than just the demo questions, you have to buy a chunk of extras ( to actually make the app generally usable ) I was alarmed to find that it appears that to get even the basic the ‘beginner course ‘ questions, you have to pay a certain fee….at grade 1, Then another fee for grade 2, another fee for grade 3 and so on. Are you actually having a laugh??? To get an app that covers all grades just for one exam board, it would cost hundreds!!!! ABRSM aural training app is £7.99 and that covers grade 1-5 …. Then you get another app that’s grades 6-8…for similar £8 or £9 You must be off your rocker if you think any teacher is going to spend hundreds on individual purchases for each grade in this app. Swerve this and get the offfiicial ABRSM app if you actually value your pennies. Disgusting pricing. ### 1/5 — Just downloaded *2022-03-13, version 3.13* I have just updated this app on the Apple store with this iPad and your app does not recognise my email address, even though I was only updating the app and have it already on this device. ### 1/5 — No training material *2021-05-26, version 3.07* This app just frustrates my son. There is no material to help students to learn the skills only actual full speed tests with no help. Therefore only useful for already skilled students to practice just ahead of an exam. There is no way to alter the pitch. It assumes the test is for girls or young boys whose voices have not broken. Absolutely useless for most students. From response on pitch, many students in addition to the actual tests need to learn to be able to transpose the phrases for sing back tests.
