## What is Auralize?

Auralize is an acoustic measurement tool for iPhone that combines sound level meter and decibel meter features to measure, record, and document sound levels in the field.

Built by acoustic and computer engineers, Auralize uses a calibration correction factor obtained in a laboratory. Up to 4000 Hz, the app qualifies as a Class 2 measurement, delivering reliable accuracy for technical fieldwork.

Track sound levels in dB(A) in real time, view the equivalent level (Leq), the maximum level, and sound pressure (SPL) data with acoustic weighting. During measurement, follow sound variations on a chart updated in real time.
More than measuring, Auralize helps you keep the full context of every measurement organized — from the field record to the final report.

REAL-TIME MEASUREMENT
Track sound levels in dB(A), the equivalent level (Leq), the maximum level, and sound pressure (SPL) information throughout the measurement.

MEASUREMENT CHART
See in real time how the sound level varies over the measurement and clearly follow how the environment behaves.

Auralize works locally: your measurements, recordings, photos, videos, and location data are stored on your own device and are not sent to our servers. Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed by RevenueCat, and we collect anonymous usage data (via Mixpanel) only to improve the app. Auralize may show partner ads, with no ad tracking (IDFA).
