I needed an app to dictate in French as an alternative to ChatGPT, which currently isn’t optimal for switching between French and English. I tried the Auri AI keyboard assistant, but unfortunately, it wasn’t straightforward. The commands felt clunky, and the dictation didn’t work effectively. This application was very helpful but I think I can do the same with ChatGPT. The five stars I rated this app is due to its performance. It’s slightly edges out ChatGPT acting like a real assistant my only critique is. I wish that it can work with you on projects but devils advocate. I have even introduced it to the children as an alternative to Google, where they can ask study questions and receive insightful ideas. As someone with dyslexia, this tool has been instrumental in helping me navigate my course effectively. It has also proven to be beneficial in explaining concepts to the children and simplifying complex subjects like mathematics. The only drawback for me is that it is not compatible with my Windows laptop. It can be a bit inconvenient to have to use it on my phone and then email the content to myself. It's ability to record, transcribe and use AI to clean up recording transcripts is really good, in many cases better and more options than Otter. As others have mentioned, the predictive keyboard is decent (laggy on my iPhone 12 pro max and predictions aren't as good as native keyboard). Hopefully it will improve as it learns from my typing. To customers; Don’t waste your time. Try the duckduckgo Ai instead. Unlimited chats, free. I’m using it twice a week at least. If you’re suffering harassment you can open it, I began with writing a letter about the neighbour trouble and ended up soothed all by an Ai. These are worth a look. Screenshot your chat for the info and discard when you are done writing up. Privacy. Just as you need it. No account needed. You get about two hours before the limit kicks in. Four chat models to choose from. Try it out see what it can do. Also, they ask for $100/yr or $10/mo before you even get to try the app at all, which seems absurd, given how many other AI writing apps are out there. I’d suggest the developers let you do something with the app before charging you. **Developer response:** Hey Joseph, it looks like there has been some misunderstanding. During the onboarding flow, after dismissing the pricing screen, you are prompted to install the keyboard. After installation, you can access all of Auri's features. The free version grants you access to all features with daily limits, which is sufficient for 90% of users. The Pro membership provides unlimited access.
