### 3/5 — Auria Pro UI Scaling Bug on New 13” iPad Pro Models

*2026-05-13, version 2.36*

I absolutely love Auria Pro for mobile mixing. I use this program within a real professional post-production workflow, and when it works properly, it’s an excellent tool.

However, there is a major UI/layout glitch when switching between the mixer and timeline views on the newer 13” iPad Pro models. At times, only the bottom half of the interface appears, or portions of the mixer faders remain overlaid on the timeline page. This creates serious issues when trying to select tracks, edit clips, or perform other timeline tasks.

What’s interesting is that I did not experience this issue on the older 12.9” iPad Pro models, which makes me believe the bug may be related to scaling, resolution, or UI compatibility with the newer 13” displays.

Unfortunately, this issue has affected paid client projects and has forced me to temporarily use alternative software despite preferring the Auria Pro ecosystem.

I genuinely want to continue using Auria Pro as part of my professional workflow, but this issue needs to be addressed in a future update. A stability and UI bug-fix update focused on mixer/timeline transitions for the newer 13” iPad Pro models would make a huge difference for professional users relying on the app in production environments.

### 3/5 — This use to be 1 mobile DAW but..

*2025-12-01, version 2.36*

CUBASIS took the #1 spot. I really did love this beautiful app at one point and was a big advocate, although it seems like it hardly ever gets an update. I have weird issues with projects (especially old transferred projects) making popping and clicking sounds also some that either can’t be fixed or just don’t open at all.. I find a few midi problems a little annoying and im afraid to start new projects anymore. I’m considering deleting it but a handful of projects still open and work fine. Hoping that maybe they do a nice update that they don’t charge you for.. that’d be phenomenal as I really do love this app.

### 3/5 — Reviews and compatibility updates

*2025-08-16, version 2.36*

Dear Auria,

I've been using your app (pro version) with some ocassional issues for 7 years now. The time has come when Apple is forcing me to update my iPad. Finding information about compatibility with things (2025) is proving difficult. Reviews at the 'app store' dating back 9 years are not especially helpful. With all due respect are there any plans to update app information/reviews, or notify users of updates that are in the works? Are you done with us?

### 1/5 — Incompetenti

*2025-05-14, version 2.36*

### 1/5 — Screen Problem iPad Pro M4 13 Zoll

*2025-03-23, version 2.36*

### 1/5 — No updates

*2025-02-21, version 2.36*

Lots of issues with this app, i bought it a while ago and tried using it, but too many problems, crushes, issues. I wish i didn’t buy it…

*2025-01-14, version 2.36*

Time strech faz o app fechar.

### 3/5 — Auria Pro. I thought it was just me.

*2024-11-04, version 2.36*

I can only give my own experience, from my own point of view. I have managed to create a track in Auria Pro. I bought it after coming to iPad music creation, from a pretty awful experience of PC-based DAWs. 8 years down the line, I have established that GarageBand is my speed, and for me the issue is that Auria Pro is so like the PC DAW environment, it’s just as off-putting. It took me a miserable year to get a lousy bassline laid down on my PC - technical problems and barriers of all sorts abounded, and there was almost zero help out there.

Luckily, the iOS and iPadOS world, is very different in that regard! There are one or two pretty expert users of Apple’s own baby DAW, and Cubasis, giving actual reliable help to new users, so the technical obstacles are acknowledged and kept in check. IE you can press on with actually making music. This was Apple’s intention with GB on any platform, it’s plain to see. Apple made it for me and everyone else too.

Auria Pro, completely replicates the ‘big boy’ DAW experience, and that’s why that one track I made years ago, will be all I ever make in it. I can’t speak to its technical underpinnings, only that I personally found it hard to learn, and it appears some of that may have been down to technical issues. Auria Pro was given huge fanfare early on. Perhaps it was ahead of its time - even GB didn’t run very well on the early iPads, and having moved to a 2Tb iPad Pro M1, I now realise 32Gb of SSD, is meagre to say the least. I tested, and it takes 75Gb spare SSD on iPads, to reliably run a stable DAW like GarageBand. Maybe if Auria Pro were made in time for Apple Silicon, it would be different. It’s not for me, however powerful my iPad gets. 3 stars, only because I managed to get a tune recorded in it.

### 1/5 — I would trust and made a deal with devil, rather than trusting this negligent little IK Auria-Pedia!

*2024-09-23*

Just take this worthless medieval piece of Clock from the Store.

Ohhh, want the money, ehhh! Ok ok! Get it!

I am in kind of mental distress whether I would get the refund or not. But this app is just dead, full of bugs, the workflow I don’t know what the developers have been doing?

Bought it with such high expectations, if you rate the daws, Auria would come at the last position in iOS ecosystem.

I sincerely hope I get the refund! Dear lord!

P.s. I tried, I tried a lot .

### 1/5 — Does not work !!!

*2024-09-03, version 2.36*

Hi there,

I am having a big issue with your version of Auria Pro

I am rummimg an iPad Pro m2 from 2022….

I just purchased the pro version once again trusting the bugs would have have been fixed or at least discussed on the app page….

Auria just WONT START !!!

I have tried everything I could possibly think about but nothing seems to make your app better

Auria just crashes at startup…. Impossible to run even 1second

I would like to get a full refund… it would be already expensive enough if the app would run…. BUT IT WONT.

COULD YOU PLEASE KINDLY GET BACK TO ME IN ORDER TO HELP MY REFUND

I HOPE IT WILL SOON BE WORKING BUT IN THE MEANTIME I CANNOT AFFORD AN APP THAT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!!!

Thank you for getting back to me asap

F.

*2024-08-24, version 2.36*

se ve horrible y de desperdicia pantalla

### 2/5 — Old

*2024-08-11, version 2.36*

Abandoned. Rarely updated. No multicore, limited number of effects on channels, inconvenient scrolling (for me personally). It's a shame that the program has a huge potential, if efforts were made....

### 1/5 — This is a scam there have not been updates in several years

*2024-06-25, version 2.36*

And this is a pricey one. It’s still rubbish.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t invest in Auria

*2026-06-19*

DAW stopped working couple weeks ago, audio stutters and crackles. InApp purchases not restoring. No response from creator

### 1/5 — At first I was naive.

*2026-04-22, version 2.36*

Lately, after my mind was in a peaceful place, I thought that, there are some things that are not supposed to exist but the universe itself keeps it in existence. So, Auria Pro is like that entity which is currently infesting the globe and literally abusing the womb gave birth to it, claiming that it is the most highly evolved intelligent species ever existed in the universe, self proclaimed. Surprisingly, somehow it validates their shallow and egocentric existence. So, it doesn’t matter, nothing is really something compared to eternity. So, regards. Aria Pro. Live long and prosper.

### 1/5 — It hasn’t been updated in 2yrs.

*2026-04-11, version 2.36*

It hasn’t been updated in two years yet you are still collecting money from people who have no idea it is not functional. You should update it or remove it from the App Store .

### 1/5 — Is this abandonware?

*2026-02-16, version 2.36*

I just clicked on "User Guide" in the Auria Pro menu and got "page not found". That's a pretty serious error.

### 1/5 — Darstellungsprobleme

*2026-01-09, version 2.36*

### 1/5 — abandonware

*2025-11-22, version 2.36*

stay away, do not encourage developer inaction by collecting free money from you. the app is not in a useable state

### 1/5 — Broken / abandoned

*2025-11-13, version 2.36*

Do not buy!

### 1/5 — New Projects Fail

*2025-10-02, version 2.36*

Can’t create or rename new projects.
App fail.

### 1/5 — No loop/cycle recording is a serious omission

*2025-08-25, version 2.36*

EDIT: Why are there 2 versions of this app with exactly the same name kicking around on the Appstore?

Although this looks like a fully featured DAW, it really is not and crucially omits a fundamental facility found in almost all other DAWs on many computer platforms - namely, loop (or cycle) recording, the ability to record multiple takes while playing backing tracking tracks in loop mode between 2 locations.

Loop/cycle recording for both MIDI & audio has been a basic part of all computer based DAWs (Logic, Sonar, Cubase, Samplitude, Reaper, Ableton, etc.) I have used for the last 20 years. It is very disappointing that this has not been included in Auria Pro.

I, like many other musicians with home studios, record solo and do not have the luxury of (or the space for) a band to rehearse with or an engineer to wind the tape back to the beginning and punch in every time you want to record another take. In addition, operating the recording controls when using both hands playing the guitar is physically challenging and really does interrupt the creative flow when composing a part. (It is easier when playing a keyboard, but not desirable.) This is one of the major reasons I stopped using tape and started using DAWs on computers back in the late 90s.

It is somewhat suprising to come over to the iPad in 2016 and find out too late after paying out £50 that a major “professional” DAW on this platform does not have this basic feature and more suprising & saddening to find out that it was not designed to or ever likely to be included in the future. Various requests have been made for this over the past 5 years, but so far it does not look like it will be forthcoming.

Unfortunately, for me, this serious omission is a show stopper and therefore this app is no longer used for recording. Which is rather sad and a waste of money.

### 1/5 — I would trust and made a deal with devil, rather than trusting this negligent little IK Auria-Pedia!

*2025-05-18, version 2.36*

Update: worse than the 1958’s two tracks, at least you could do something with that.

Just take this worthless medieval piece of Clock from the Store.

### 5/5 — Welcome back!

*2026-08-16, version 2.39*

Thank you Rim for updating this magnificent effort called Auria.

I would be glad to pay for IAPs that expand Auria in the future!

Maybe adopting Mela’s collections price strategy or Loopy Pro’s update policy to make all your extensive work on this project become financially viable for you?

There’s a community of folks that really appreciate a great sounding, regularly updated song creation program as deep as this.

VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

### 5/5 — always beloved except warping fails now

*2025-11-12, version 2.36*

which is a big bummer. Please correct this.

### 5/5 — always beloved except warping fails now

*2025-11-05*

which is a big bummer

### 5/5 — The best

*2025-01-03, version 2.36*

Its the best available of its kind out there and the fact that it works on my Ipad makes it doubly good. Been using it for years!

### 5/5 — Very happy

*2024-12-10, version 2.36*

I just changed settings on the display zoom under display and brightness to default and it works great. If it’s on larger text, then you don’t see it scaled overall, the app is the best ever

### 5/5 — Personally Love IT!

*2024-10-21, version 2.36*

Sure, I’d like to see a better implementation of the app and I have a few ideas but it’s still exactly what someone who’s used to that desktop flow will love. A few slight differences especially with automation and adding your AUv3’s to the fx rack but otherwise a brilliant app. Maybe an updated UI for a more modern look would be cool too.

### 5/5 — Best DAW in the App Store!

*2024-02-06, version 2.36*

And this is still true!

### 5/5 — I have a iPad Pro m1

*2023-12-17*

The app is great and works great. The only thing I don’t like is with the Magic Keyboard I can’t control pause and stop. Also, when mixing down a project that has midi, written recordings like pan volume etc. it takes forever I wish this can be fixed besides of that. I think this is the best.

### 5/5 — Great DAW!

*2023-11-09, version 2.33*

WaveMachine Labs definitely deserves full credit for pioneering audio workstations in iOS.

It is insane how fluid this app is and how quickly I can get projects tracked and mixed and exported. The possibilities seem endless especially when using decent hardware. I’ve been using Auria since it’s first release years ago and have never been disappointed, it has everything needed to keep a creative flow moving while making music.
