## What is AuroraX?

AuroraX requires an AuroraX Pro subscription: monthly or yearly, everything included.

Will you see the northern lights tonight? AuroraX turns NOAA's live aurora forecast into one clear number: your chance of seeing the aurora right where you are.

YOUR CHANCE, RIGHT NOW
• Local aurora probability from NOAA's OVATION model, the 30–90 minute forecast
• KP index and a simple verdict: quiet, worth a look or good chance
• Tonight's cloud cover and light pollution where you are

LIVE AURORA MAP
• The aurora oval on a live map, in dark, standard or satellite style
• The best places to watch right now, with their distance from you
• NOAA forecast images for the northern and southern hemispheres, plus tonight's and tomorrow night's outlook

AURORA ALERTS
• A notification when your chance gets high, or when the KP index reaches the level you choose
• Checked in the background, with at most one alert every 3 hours

KP INDEX & SPACE WEATHER
• KP index for the next 3 days, long-term outlook and history
• Solar wind speed, density, Bt and Bz, plus hemispheric power
• Know when a geomagnetic storm could make the aurora visible much further from the poles than usual
• The latest images of the Sun from NASA's SDO and SOHO

LIVE WEBCAMS
• All-sky cameras in Canada, Alaska and Sweden, refreshed every minute

Tap "I see the aurora" to save your sightings on your device, and share the forecast with friends in one tap. Made for aurora hunters, sky photographers and travelers.

Data: NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, Open-Meteo and NASA. Your location is only used to get the forecast for where you are.
