## What is AurumGames?

Set sail from Carthage with a single Sloop, a modest purse, and a lender who expects to be paid. Sea Trader is a turn-based trading and naval strategy game set across nine real ports of the ancient Mediterranean — build a fortune, fight off pirates, and pay down your debt before the sea claims your ship.

TRADE ACROSS THE ANCIENT WORLD
Sail between Cadiz, Marseille, Rome, Valletta, Carthage, Athens, Constantinople, Sidon, and Alexandria. Each port has its own economy — home goods are cheap to buy and scarce to sell, imports run the other way, and prices shift with shortages, gluts, and the occasional storm. Eighteen commodities to trade, from Tyrian purple dye and Cedar timber to Bluefin tuna and Silver — some perishable, some not.

BUILD YOUR FLEET
Start with a Sloop and work up through Brigantine, Galley, Carrack, and Frigate as your purse allows. Reach Galley and you can crew a second ship; reach further and a third joins your fleet — each one able to carry its own cargo and cannons, and fight alongside you when trouble finds you.

MANAGE REAL DEBT
Every port runs its own bank and its own lender — separate ledgers, separate obligations. Borrow to grow or save to protect your cash from pirates and port tax. Miss enough interest payments in one city and that lender's men will be waiting at the dock.

SURVIVE THE OPEN SEA
The longer you're at sea, the more dangerous it gets. Pirate fleets grow bigger and better-armed the deeper you sail into a voyage — when they close in, choose to fight for plunder or flee and hope you outrun the parting shot. Port tax, dockside robberies, and standing harbor dues all take their own bite along the way.

STORE, UPGRADE, RETIRE
Stash goods in a port's private warehouse to dodge spoilage and keep cargo out of a pirate's reach. Upgrade your hold, your cannons, your ship tier — and when your fortune's built, retire to Rhodes and end the voyage on your own terms.

No ads, no in-app purchases, no internet connection required — just you, your ships, and the Mediterranean.
