### 2/5 — Ausland

*2026-06-10*

The new update sucks I was in the middle of learning the alphabet and now I have to pay to do it don’t download

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback — we’re glad you’re enjoying the app! We’ve just submitted an update that fixes the video glitching issues you mentioned. An option to learn full sentences is a great suggestion too and something we’re actively considering for a future update. Thanks for helping us improve Ausland!

### 4/5 — needs minor tweaks but otherwise perfect

*2026-04-13*

I love this app but when it asks you questions like “what is the sign for ….” The font is SOOOOO teeeenny tiny, I can hardly read it. It’s obviously a glitch as it’s like crazy tiny. Other than that it’s a great app!!!!’

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the kind words and for flagging this! You're right, the tiny font on the 'what is the sign for...' questions is a bug, not intended behaviour. We've logged it and are working on a fix for the next update. Really appreciate you taking the time to review!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-04-07*

Fantastic resource, I would happily pay for premium if there was more content, I know I would blow through the current course in a few days

**Developer response:** Hi Paige, thank you so much for the kind words, this genuinely made our day! 🎉

We're so glad you're finding it valuable. You'll be happy to know that more content is actively in the works, so watch this space!

We'd love to hear what topics you're most excited about, there is a feedback form in the settings page of the app that you can submit topics you would like to learn!!

Happy learning!!

### 5/5 — Lovely Refresh

*2026-03-30*

I first discovered the app a few months ago when I wanted to revise my Auslan. For being a free app and teaching Auslan, a very underrepresented language with not many resources, I thought it was good for finally having a way to learn although some units were incomplete such as colours only having red as an option. I’d reached 100 day streak, had finished all the units and did my daily review each day.

The new refresher was definitely necessary and has improved the app immensely. The new videos are much clearer and show the signs far better than the old ones. The new version also starts at the basics (hi, me, my, nice to meet you, etc) and appears to have much more logical progression compared to the old version which started with locations (Hobart,Melbourne, Perth etc). While some units from ausland are missing at the moment, I believe developers are working on adding more signs and improving existing units. Overall, I am very pleased with this new update and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for the app.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you so much for updating your review, it really means a lot.

We’re incredibly grateful for the time and effort you’ve put into the app (a 100-day streak is seriously impressive), and it’s great to hear that the new version feels like a meaningful improvement. The clearer videos and more structured progression were two of our biggest focuses, so it’s encouraging to know that’s coming through.

You’re absolutely right that some units from the original version are still being rebuilt, we’re actively working on expanding the content and filling those gaps as quickly as we can, while keeping the quality consistent.

We also want to acknowledge again your support as an early user. Feedback like yours has directly shaped the direction of the app, and we genuinely appreciate you sticking with us through the transition.

If there’s anything specific you’d love to see added next, we’d always love to hear it. Thanks again for your support, we’re excited to keep improving the app.

### 3/5 — Bug opening page

*2026-03-24*

I haven’t even been able to open it properly. It shows the welcoming info but it’s like it’s frozen. I can’t scroll down or press on anything. I’ve updated it so I’m not sure

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for reporting this issue, and sorry for the frustration.

We’ve identified and fixed the bug that was causing the app to freeze on the welcome screen. An update with this fix will be rolling out in the next few days.

Once the update is available, please install the latest version and it should be working as expected. If you continue to experience any issues, feel free to reach out again. We really appreciate your patience while we sorted this out.

### 2/5 — Do not recommend

*2026-03-21*

This app has barley any words and have the videos are so glitchy I can not learn the signs. In the emotions category there is literally only 1 sign. There are 7 categories with 1-5 sub categories with each sub categories having 1-30 words (normally 20-ish words) and it is specific to QLD auslan . I do not recommend. I got it because it was cute, it is but not efficient.

### 1/5 — Did not work

*2026-02-01*

I have autisma nd cannot always speak, and this appis doing NOTHING to help me communicate. The videos are cropped, glitchy and pixelated, there is too few words and i cant form sentences

**Developer response:** Hi jocpkcp,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I’m really sorry to hear that the app hasn’t been helpful for you. Supporting people who cannot always speak is exactly why this app is being built, so I truly appreciate you explaining your experience.

I understand how frustrating issues like cropped, glitchy, or pixelated videos and a limited vocabulary can be. In the first version of the app, some of the content relied on older, free data sources, which unfortunately contributed to the quality problems you experienced. That’s not the experience I want anyone to have.

I’m currently working on Version 2, which is focused on significantly improving video quality, expanding the available words, and making it much easier to form full sentences for communication. Feedback like yours is incredibly important in shaping these improvements, so thank you again for sharing it.

If you’re open to it, I’d love to hear more about what would make the app genuinely useful for you. I hope the upcoming update provides a much better experience.

Wishing you all the best.
