I’ve had auto loans and personal loans and borrowed money to fix up our home. I want to provide some constructive feedback. Austin Bank’s mobile device experience is well behind what it should be for 2026. Your app is dated and could us a refresh. More times than I can count, I can’t even sign into the app. In this day and age we should be able to add our debit cards to our mobile phones wallet. Yet Auston Bank does not allow that. Ridiculous !! As a long time and loyal Austin Bank customer I really hope you consider joining the current trend and offer more services for your customers. I hope my feedback was honest and allowed for a more honest conversation within the company. I get a message that the app doesn’t recognize me. I have to hit ok then log in. Also the app is so elementary. Other banks have programs to save for Christmas funds that are automatically deducted. We need that. Usually the 2nd time I get app to work. However, 3/1/2024 app didn’t work for me, most of the day. I think Austin Bank ought to be more concerned about their app working instead of wasting money on a new logo! ### 4/5 — Does the job but needs updated *2024-01-04, version 23.1.81* While yes this app does the job, it needs to be updated. The layout of the app is old and needs a new look. The banking app has issues connecting to Zelle and does not connect to Apple wallet or anything like that. Not only those two problems there is glitches within the app. It might not be the apps fault, but when ordering things it will show me the wrong amount in my account. I have overdraft protection, but it caused me to be in the negative. I’m a young adult so I don’t have the best income. Luckily I got more money in my account now so I’m no longer $20 in the negative, but it showed I had $60 when I only had $8.50. I especially love the card alerts so I can know any time my card is used and determine asap if my card has been compromised. One improvement I would recommend is the ability to view all my statements from the app. It is more of a hassle to have to login on the webpage to find all my statements. ### 4/5 — Great app *2023-09-14* It keeps shutting down as soon as I open it. Then allot of times it doesn’t recognize my face. That’s not agrivating. After coming to the App Store to figure it out, I saw it needed an update. Their app is an absolute nightmare. You will never know how much is due if you have a loan or LOC, unless you can login from a desktop computer. Even then, a password reset will be necessary every. single. time you login. You will need to call your banker with every payment, and make sure your payment was properly applied. It will NOT be properly applied (to interest & principle) unless you do this every single time. They will charge you a late fee if it is not properly applied, and it will be placed on your credit as late. Seriously!! I highly recommend Altra FCU, Bank Of America, and Vera Bank. Their apps are so customer friendly. Everything is what you would expect from a banking app. There are no surprises! I do not recommend Austin Bank!! Every so often I will receive a message stating the app is having technical difficulties. The app has been convenient at times, however all the bugs and issues with logging in and having to set my quick balance on has become a nuisance. If Austin Bank truly cares about their customers, they should begin with having a better app for convenience. But lately it has been a few times in a row. Sometimes the password sometimes both user name and password. I don’t use the same one on all apps so I have all my stuff written down at home. Makes it very inconvenient when you’re not at home to have this happen. You have no updates at the moment. But now it isn’t letting me log on at all due to whatever message you have thrown up. I’d like to know what is going on with my account. Also do you give the option to add our cards to the wallet app yet?
