### 4/5 — Live tracking was not accurate

*2026-08-08*

Nice app, but the live tracking didn’t match what actually happened, even on the paid plan. I waited for 10 minutes after the bus was shown at my stop and it still hadn’t come.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and we're sorry the tracking was off for your stop. We're actively working on improving accuracy. Please reach out to our support page with details so we can look into this further.

### 1/5 — Sleazy!

*2026-07-29, version 2026.8*

Charging for an online bus schedule is ridiculous not to mention slimy with the free trial and then charging $30. Super sleazy app!

### 3/5 — Doesn’t offer live tracking of buses

*2026-07-18*

I thought this would be available.

**Developer response:** Live bus tracking is actually included, you should be able to see buses moving on the map in real time! If it's not showing up for you, please reach out to our support team so we can help.

### 1/5 — Subscription for ?

*2026-07-06*

I just downloaded this app so that I could use it to catch the bus and all of a sudden I got hit with a subscription $29 a month for what I’m trying to catch the bus to go to work and function in society. Every review is one star one thing I hate is someone playing around like it’s funny. You literally could have the map on the website that people could look at I just moved from the coldest place in America and they had a better app system than this ! in a major big city Well, what’s trying to turn into a major big city lol Austin go figure tech hub of what ? lol.

**Developer response:** Support response:

We're sorry for the frustration this caused. A $29/month charge isn't something we intend to surprise riders with, please contact support so we can look into this and help resolve it.

### 1/5 — To pay or not to pay?

*2026-03-15, version 2026.4*

### 4/5 — It’s solid.

*2026-03-15*

User interface could be more simple. Good otherwise.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! We're glad it's working well for you. We hear you on simplifying the UI and will keep that in mind as we improve the app.

The Austin Transit: CapMetro Times Team

### 1/5 — I’ll just wait for the next app

*2026-02-28*

Download the app yourself and the first impression when you open it will most likely tell you everything you need to know. It’s a scam app that charges users for public transit route access. And even worse, the developers’ only argument to support it’s value, is that you can see the bus moving on the map hahahaha. Just wait until cap metro finds a new app and use google in the meantime

**Developer response:** We're sorry to hear about your frustration! Our app does have a free tier with basic features, and premium features support ongoing development. We'd love to address your concerns directly - please reach out to our support team. We appreciate the honest feedback.

### 1/5 — Charge you for stop times

*2026-01-25*

Well that’s what it is. I just wanted to check bus stop times, texts are not working currently so I tried this app. Oh wait I have to pay just to use it? Nevermind.

Not what you need if looking for assistance with info for free

**Developer response:** We're sorry for the frustration! Our app does offer free features, but we understand the confusion. Please reach out to our support team and we'd love to help clarify what's available at no cost.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2026.11 — 2026-10-10

New in this release: support for iPhone Duo, taking advantage of all the ways to use it. Now you can set a destination and keep an eye on your journey while scrolling through your feeds with Split View, and Momego works great when the Duo is unfolded, with a large, expansive map view giving you lots of room to explore connections and alternative routes.

Of course we wouldn't leave everyone else out: this release includes a number of small improvements, especially around iPad support, VoiceOver improvements and right-to-left languages like Japanese and Arabic.

Last time. we mentioned an upcoming feature - the ability to add multiple stops on your route; rest assured, that's still coming, and you'll see it in the next release.

Until next time, happy travels!

### 2026.10.6 — 2026-10-08

A great new update for you today: Smart Suggestions, Delay Assistant, Siri AI improvements, faster launch speeds and a new, refined app design. Read on to find out more...

-----

Refined Design: We haven’t changed much, you’ll be glad to hear – we’ve just tightened every screen up a little to make your experience more pleasant. Now you can use the app on iPad as well.

-----

Faster Launch: Every second counts, so we've worked hard to make the app launch within 0.5 seconds, making sure you get the info you need as quickly as possible.

-----

Smart Suggestions: The app keeps track of your journeys and stations (private by design) and shows you the best way to your regular destinations at the time you need them.

-----

GO – Better Than Ever: When you tap GO, the app is even better at giving you up-to-date information – and for PRO customers we’ve introduced Delay Assistant, letting you know if there’s an issue up ahead and will give you alternative routes you can take while you’re on the move.

-----

Siri AI: No need to squint at the screen while you’re walking to the station – just ask Siri, which now sees everything on your screen, and you can ask for live times and directions without opening the app first.

-----

We’ve moved Alerts into the Saved tab – now they live alongside your stations and places. You can now move your stations, places and alerts around to suit you, and give them distinct colors.

-----

Your feedback makes the app better. We'd really appreciate it if you could spare a few moments and leave a review in the App Store for us. We read every one (good and bad!) and we always appreciate every rating and review.

Still reading? You might have noticed that we've replaced the swap button on the journey planner with drag indicators you can use to move the start and end points. Why would we do that? Hmm... find out next time. See you then!

-----

OK, it's so you can add extra stops to your journey. Coming soon!

### 2026.9.1 — 2026-08-26

Hey, it's been a while! We've been busy over the summer months on making our systems faster and better. You should find that most departure boards now just appear instantly. Like, faster than the blink of an eye. When we first got this up and running we just kept tapping and tapping on stops and stations on the map, marvelling at the speed. When you're running for that bus, every seconds counts, right?

Of course, we're fixing a bunch of small bug fixes in this release as well, especially around alarms and live notifications, so we hope you're able to get the most out of them.

More to come in the next release. See you then!
