Very frustrating. Some banking options are only available from the website log on and not the mobile app. Not as good as my other bank’s app. ### 2/5 — Average Banking App compared to others *2025-08-19, version 2.40* This app feels clunky and sometimes just doesn’t work. Case in point today. Hasn’t worked all day. There is one confusing feature in the Transaction display page however. There is no dividing ‘line’ to separate a list of transactions on a given day from the next date. The ‘underline’ of the next date can be confused as the divider. App crashes without opening. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible downturn from the previous excellent system *2025-09-11, version 2.40* AMB staff confirmed to me today that the app is not compatible with iPad. The new app is in any case slow and clunky, and the idea that it can’t work on an iPad is utterly absurd. Come on AMB - get this fixed. ### 1/5 — Too far behind the other bank apps *2025-06-02, version 2.36* This app really needs an overhaul, it is horrendous to use. Slow and clunky to load anything, and always having to hard reset the app so i can login smoothly. Slow, flaky and sometimes produces lots of error messages that require the phone to be turned off to try to get it working. When scrolling back through banking transaction history, the dates are not in chronological order. They start out chronologically but soon repeat dates etc. When I compare it to my service I receive from my NAB banking app, it doesn’t even come close. Please do something about this. Doesn’t send OTP to the registered mobile number so the purchase of timed tickets is impossible. Cannot function overseas as all payments need verification and they can only send OTP to a registered mobile number (which cannot be achieved if you purchase an eSIM in country). Totally useless.
