Old icon was much better and easier to find. Have used this app for years and it is very useful for tracking deliveries 95% of the time. Ability to send someone else authorisation to collect parcel is very useful. ### 2/5 — Idiotic app icon *2026-09-01, version 7.11.3* Australia Post is a utility - it needs to be consistent and basically neutral for all Australians. Like a water company. The recent decision to change the app icon shows how poor Australia Post’s judgement and priorities are. It’s even worse if it is for some Harry Potter thing. Bring the old icon back. ### 1/5 — Highly inappropriate use of a government service *2026-08-31, version 7.11.3* This recent update featured an app logo change in a cross branding exercise. The cross branding is with a brand that is explicitly linked to legal cases and other activities, all of which are intended to suppress the human rights of transgender individuals. It is highly inappropriate for a government service to be associating itself with a brand who has been recognised by international watchdogs and human rights organisations as perpetuating human rights violations. But what makes this sting even more is that for those of us who use the app we have no choice but to be face to face this abhorrent behaviour, whether we like it or not. Also the tracking events for parcels are all over the place - on the screen where all parcels are listed it can show different location and date/time than in the detail view for a parcel.
