## Newest reviews (16 of 1,249)

### 4/5 — Aus open

*2026-01-31, version 26.3.1*

Much easier to navigate than similar apps for other grand slams.

### 3/5 — Text small and not resizeable

*2026-01-31, version 26.3.1*

What the title says
Can’t even zoom in to see any details

### 4/5 — AO open

*2026-01-31, version 26.3.1*

Good app for results on the fly. Not as easy to find exact matches as earlier versions, but still handy

### 3/5 — Popularity has created growing pains.

*2026-01-30, version 26.3.1*

Found it easier to follow scores on ausopen.com in 2026, app kept coming up with error during matches when it attempted to refresh scores, or just open/load. Reinstalling didn’t help. For anyone relying on the audio or map, this would have been problematic.

Didn’t have this issue in 2023, or 2024. Also miss the feature which let you order food etc from vendors like fishbowl.

### 2/5 — Ads everywhere!

*2026-01-30, version 26.3.1*

I understand sites need to sell ad to be offered for free, but the site has more ads than content

### 3/5 — Sign on

*2026-01-29, version 26.3.1*

App not as good as previously. Making sign on essential to highlight favourite players is just annoying and a data grab by AO - very disappointing

### 4/5 — Slow

*2026-01-29, version 26.3.1*

Slow when reopening apple

### 5/5 — Australian open

*2026-01-28, version 26.3.1*

Like to watch every grand slam .. specially Australian open .. wish to watch Al caraz match live in Melbourne

### 4/5 — Viktor

*2026-01-28, version 26.3.1*

Too slow

### 5/5 — Easy to navigate

Like the easy and clean App. All information are available and quickly to find.

### 5/5 — Very helpful app

*2026-01-28, version 26.3.1*

This is great for following at home and also when you get to the matches. Lots of match and player information.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-01-27, version 26.3.1*

Good place to find everything about AO

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-01-27, version 26.3.1*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — WTF

*2026-01-31, version 25.0.3*

How dare AO put up a statement on first opening the app after install that the AO is being played on aboriginal country. No, it’s being played in the coubtry of Australia. If the abs wanted to have a country, they would have created one, but they didn’t. The AO app is NOT the place to play politics and denigrate the AO’s home country of Australia. Deleted.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-01-29, version 26.3.1*

The App UX needs serious rework to be user friendly and the information layout needs to be made more relevant

### 1/5 — Slow and poor

*2026-01-28, version 26.3.1*

This app
Pften freeze and run very slowly - also has a big problem with refreshing data: many times it requires restart. Very poor UX 😢

### 1/5 — Still showing last year's results

*2026-01-27, version 26.3.1*

Good idea. Still showing 2016 results. Pity...

### 1/5 — A joke of an app

*2026-01-25, version 26.3.1*

After a week of mediocre updates, they have lost the favorited players. Please do not add features, the app gets worse every year.

### 1/5 — Horrible coverage

*2026-01-25, version 26.3.1*

ESPN has done a horrific job of covering the open. Your fans have suffered because of their greed.

### 1/5 — Your app is stupid

*2026-01-25, version 26.3.1*

Stupid

### 1/5 — Hideous ads

*2026-01-23, version 26.3.0*

What’s with the degrading photos of sick people in the ads for this app? Surely you can find other advertisers. Also there is no full screen version, very lazy of you.

### 1/5 — Messy

*2026-01-23, version 26.3.0*

Considering the insane cost to attend, and the additional ads in the live content, do we really need to have ads inside this app too?? beyond that, the app UI is a complete shambles.

### 1/5 — Can’t register

*2026-01-22, version 26.3.0*

I want to register so I can choose favorite players. You’re supposed to email me a code which I haven’t received. It’s not in spam. I’ve tried multiple times. No code. Please help.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Les Kocjan

*2026-02-01, version 26.3.1*

Application is nice and working pretty well and my concerns is they didn’t explain at what time you can watch matches in local time. Showing video interview with players is very interesting!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-02-01, version 26.3.1*

Excellent

### 5/5 — Great Job

*2026-02-01, version 26.3.1*

Great

### 5/5 — AO mejores momentos

*2026-02-01, version 26.3.1*

### 5/5 — Great app, even better when you are there

*2026-01-31, version 26.3.1*

Top app, easy to navigate. Helps keep you up to date with scheduling, players, scores and latest news.
AO radio is great to listen to in the car or at work.
Commentators are quite amusing

Even better when you are on site at the tennis.
Helpful finding anything from food, bars, water stations and toilets.
If only it could reserve us some seats in Garden square😁

### 5/5 — Good App

*2026-01-31, version 26.3.1*

It’s a good app and I’m glad I downloaded it because it makes checking the score slog better and easier and you can see more games.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-01-29, version 26.3.1*

Good app. Scores updated real time. Lots of player following that I don’t care about but I’m sure it’s important to some. Good scheduling view.

### 5/5 — Super useful

*2026-01-29*

This is by far the most useful site of the majors. It’s the only one I use directly - since ESPN is so much better for results and scores
In the other three and the Tennis Channel app is almost unusable.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the 5 stars! ⭐️ We’re glad you’re enjoying the app — we’ll keep making it better!

### 5/5 — Maiden AO Attendee

*2026-01-28, version 26.3.1*

My first AO and I’m so glad I finally made it across. I’ve attended all the Grand Slams and AO is far better in terms of buying tickets. One is not restricted to just one day; I could choose which day to attend the night before once the schedule has been released or on the actual day without having to camp outside for hours like some people do with Wimbledon. It saw so many great players on the outside courts and attended evening sessions in John Cain without needing a different ticket, amazing. For the main courts I could easily choose when to attend depending on who was playing instead of just going in blindly or seeing Sinner and Alcaraz. I even got to watch the wheelchair qualifiers while waiting for Ben Shelton’s practice session. The WiFi was also very good. Instead of buying tickets for the men’s semi-final, with Shelton out, I can spend my money watching the women’s semi finals.
