## What is Authenticator?

Authenticator is a security-focused app for two-factor authentication and password management. Scan a QR code to add TOTP one-time passwords for services such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, GitHub, and many other apps and websites, or manually enter a secret key when needed.

The app generates one-time verification codes offline and keeps authenticator data in secure local storage. You can also organize account passwords by category, manage app, email, bank-card, and website credentials, and generate strong passwords with customizable length and character types.
